How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

No lights next to the bed, toilets were not the best

Showers in toilet not much space. But you get what you pay for and does the trick
Does the job for a 1 night stay when arriving or getting a flight. Close to airport approx 150 pesos on grab. Bed has a curtain.

Not many restaurants/convenient stores are walking distance from the hostel
This place is convenient if your flight arrives late and you need a place to crash - it's about a 10 minute grab ride. There is a 24 hour front desk and the staff is super friendly! The dorm room was well air conditioned if you like air conditioning.

There is an air conditioner and the other guest in the room set it to 19degree, I slept under the duvet and I was still cold.
The position is very close to the airport and there are some restaurant in the nearby. It is also possible to use grab food to have food delivered in place.

The photos of the private rooms are pretty deceiving. I don’t think that the location it is in is very safe, especially for female solo travelers.
The dorms were clean and comfortable. The hostel had a large gate to keep out people that weren’t staying there, so I felt more secure.

Our private bathroom was rather small and not connected to our room. The common bathroom area/sink did not seem very clean, with empty soap and toilet paper. Quite some mosquitos. Location is far from the city center.
Nice staff. Basic room with a comfortable double bed, small fridge and an AC. It was close to the airport, so good for a short stay.

If I had to say one thing, the water pressure in the shower was a little weak. Overall it was perfectly fine for a short stay.
Our flight was delayed and we arrived at the hostel at 3am, but when we rang the bell the front desk was kind enough to accommodate us and flexibly accommodated late check-in at no extra cost. It's a little far to access downtown Cebu, but it's very close to the airport, so it's recommended for a short stay before or after your flight.

It takes a long time to get to the city from here, but that is not the hostel's fault. Cebu is a spread-out city.
Close to the airport and so good if arriving or leaving by air. There are local places to eat nearby. Friendly staff, luggage store on checkout day. Garden had shelter and a breeze.

During our stay, the bidet didn't work. The prices of their foods are expensive, And the staff should be proactive like for example since we stay for 5 days, could have done better if they contacted us or reach us to ask us to change our bed sheet or clean the room. But so far, good stay.

We arrived and had completed check-in shortly prior to 2pm. The staff checked the clock and told us that we would have to wait exactly 17 minutes until 2pm on the dot to go to our room. This is quite ridiculous, especially after a long travel day when you just want to get settled - we had to hang around at reception until 2pm, after which we still had to wait a couple of minutes for them to “check the room”. I understand that check-in is 2pm but I have never experienced a hotel making you wait until that time down to the minute, particularly if the room is ready for you. The room itself had incredibly noisy AC, and one of the shower/toilet rooms was out of service with the other shower/toilet room not having any toilet paper in it during the duration of our stay. Overall, the property served its purpose for a night’s transit between flights but staff should really consider being less rigid about check in times.
The staff were friendly, and it is well located near the airport. The room was basic but served its purpose. Rooms and shared areas were of a basic level of cleanliness.
