No private curtain on the bunks and no lockers for safe keeping items whilst staying.

Great location for the sardine run and for the buses to / from Cebu. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, excellent lattes for a good price before 1030am. We explored via bus to two waterfalls, both were easy to get to and stunning. Highly recommend this hostel!

The guesthouse with private rooms is about a 5 minute walk away from the actual hostel, however this wasn’t a very big deal with the overall experience still being very good and very good value for money. It is a little bit away from the main tourist area near Panagsama beach but there was always tricycle taxis available at a reasonable price to take us over and back.

We had a lovely stay at the Laguno hostel. Everything was very comfortable and the communication with the owners was fantastic particularly as they helped us organise several activities at very reasonable prices.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the bus station and nearby restaurants. Staff are incredibly helpful and there is a fridge and basic kitchen facilities available for use.

I stayed in the auxiliary building a few blocks from the home building. Very clean, very nice, but no kitchen. My room did have an extra sink and counter.

AC had a terrible loud noise. Toilet paper was rare, also did not provide any soap.

Wifi was good, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was OK. You can book a tour with them to Kawasan Falls. Its right in front off the bus stop to Cebu so it was easy to come and go. There are shops and fast food restaurants as well around.

Although the hostel is not by the beach, the cheap price, ability to rent scooter and location at the heart of town more than make up for it!

Really good facilities, dorm rooms were really cozy and cool, perfect for a good night sleep! The host Maria is extremely nice and helpful! She really helps create an amazing athmosphere and helps with any questions you might have as well as help in organizing tours.

We went into the new guesthouse for couples. Lovely big room. Very clean. Comfy bed and awesome shower. Nice garden and seating. Air con was quiet. Really enjoyed being here. The owners are so helpful, chatty and caring. We walked round to the hostel to use the fridge and have breakfast and chats. Good places nearby for food a fraction of the cost of beachside Moalboal. We walked or habel-habel into the main bar strip but preferred staying here close to markets and people!

If you only want to see the sardines and sit on white beach there are places closer to stay, but you'll miss the quiet charm of the town. And you'll be far from the bus station, which you'll regret because your entire party will bake under the hot sun waiting for the chronically late buses to show. This accommodation is close enough that you can take turns waiting while the other is inside the accommodation.

Staff, hospitality and value are second to none. Not exaggerating when I say every other guest in my six dorm room were long term guests all staying 3+ weeks with some here for their fifth stay. Location is at the heart of town, across the street from the bus stop. Lots of eateries nearby, walkable to the large supermarket, and convenient for transport. All guests were invited to partake in the staff and family Christmas dinner, which was delicious.

Amazing and helpful service from Maria and her family (the staff)! The hostel dorm was nice, there are comon areas and shower and toilet worked find.

Accommodation and location was great for my needs but what really makes this place truly special are the staff! Everyone was very friendly and Maria provides the best details on places to eat, things to do and when to do them. She was a big help during my stay so will definitely be coming back here when I return to Moalboal in the future!

Tbh my mattress was not comfortable at all, but I did not complain :) idk if it was mine or also the rest.

The hostel is quite good, the staff are extremely amazing ( a family running the hostel ) They have a kitchen of you are sick of eating outside you can just cook. Free water for refill & free coffee The location is a bot far from the swimming area but everything you need is located in the area of the hostel. You can rent a bike 10-15 min drive by bike to the beaches. Overall love it
