We loved it there! The hostel is clean and right on the beach, but what makes it amazing are the hostel reps - Remy and Josh. They're nice and easy going and try to make everyone super happy :) We booked island hoping through the hostel and we spent fun day on the water - can't recommend enough!

The rooms for 2 persons are ridiculous. It looks like a small room on the picture but it is an open hut with just a mattress on the floor. With roof but the front is completely open, so people can see you when you want to get changed and everybody can access your stuff. Felt very unsafe and I dont thinks it is clear ij the ad. Very expensive for what you get. Dorms are much better value for money though.

It is a fun hostel, great for meeting people.

The party's at mad monkey are amazing. It's the only place at nacpan beach where you can drink, dance and play party games at night. Remy and Josh sure knew how to keep the party alive! Then the morning after you can relax at the beach and enjoy the view.

This place is absolutely beautiful 🤩 The vibe, the people, the staff, the location, the food and drinks are outstanding. Nothing beats waking up, stumbling out of your bed and do a 40m sprint into crystal clear blue water, then getting back to the bar and having the best time with friends from around the world. Especially Josh and Remy (the reps of the place) are so welcoming, always caring for your well-being and keeping the mood on a high-level throughout the day&night! We still haven't figured out how they keep the spirit up every single day. We will be coming back! Oh and one more thing: bring mosquito/Sandflie repellent with you. It's a life saver.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Best place in Nacpan beach. The hostel is right on the beach where you can chill and enjoy amazing sunset. All the staff are great and make you feel at home. Josh and Remy are something else, theese guys are amazing, they organize games everynight and make so easy to meet new people. I stayed 3 night and i had an amazing time there. I will come back for sure.

Taxis to leave nacpan were a little pricey

Loved everything about this place! Amazing vibe, big party nights perfect for solo travellers and a great atmosphere to relax during the day. The reps Josh and Remy were hilarious and got everyone involved in the fun! Can't recommend this place enough!

This place is so hard to leave, I actually missed two flights to stay here longer because I was having the best time, the staff also are just the best, big up to remy (the rat), Josh, maan, Markie and asha!! 1000% recommend you’ll have the best time here, the crack is too moreish !!!!

Mad Monkey is absurdly expensive, you pay twice as much for a beer here than at all the other places on the beach. They also charge way more for tours than they do in the center. the hostel is nice but everything here is overpriced

the atmosphere is great and you meet new people during the party every night easily.

the dorms are very humid and hot during day and night as there is no AC. wish they would replace the 6 fans in the room with an ac, this would make the room much more comfortable

the location and the staff were awesome. if you’re a party person, that’s the right hostel for you. party every night and funny games too.

The employes at the hostel were super nice. They really did there best to make our stay as good as possible. We got a welcomedrink, some free shots and they organised some games and tried to bring the people together, it was really fun. The hostel is a bit far for the town but the beach there is really beautiful and you can book some islandhopping at the hostel.

In a perfect location with beautiful souls… you connect with yourself through the nature, always nice songs behind. Being in Mad Monkey Nacpan is something beyond the words, so I want it over and over again. love the night swimming!

- We had bedbugs (at least we saw their cot and had bites) - we then got a new mattress which seemed to have helped - No A/C = super hot and humid - long ride from el nido town (50min) and additional 10 min walk from the drop off along the beach - pricy for what you get - loads of sandflies everywhere

- We had a Private “Room” - Beautiful Napcan Beach - Great People, chill music and bar
