How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

While the location was a bit inconvenient, commuting is inexpensive in Puerto Princesa so it was fine.
The room and the adjoined bathroom facilities were great! Perfect for a stay of 2-5 nights.

Great budget friendly accommodation in the heart of Puerto Princesa! Easy to walk to waterfront and main shopping strips. The roof top bar was a highlight!

Wonderfully close to the airport and the huge shopping mall so.you can stock up before your onward travel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dinner and bar drinks in their rooftop was great. The room and surroundings were super clean. I didn't like the bed ,on 1 side being hard up against the wall. Overall, very good value.

As a small place with a small team, the service up at the rooftop bar could be slow, sometimes needing to pop down to reception and ask for someone. But otherwise they were all lovely and super helpful.
As a couple and a single friend, it was nice to have the option of a private double and a mixed dorm for that hostel atmosphere.

i booked a private room for one night and i was able to rest well! the bed was spacious and comfy, and all i had to do was go upstairs to access the restobar. i would say this hostel is of really good value for what you’re getting.

The wall needed to be cleaned in our room and we also would've liked a mosquito net as they kept getting into the room somehow but they didn't have any at reception.
The room was modern and had good Aircon, also a hot shower!!! Which was a big plus! It was basic but had everything we needed. It was clean other than some suspect liquid marks on the wall in the corner of the room... The top floor bar was really nice too. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best hostels I've been to. Very clean throughout. You have privacy in your bed with the curtain, sockets and lights around you. Also very central, safe location.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mojo Hostel in Puerto Princesa, and I can’t recommend it enough! This is a really well run hostel. The private room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The bar / dining area is a really nice space with some very good food. Great for a short stopover in Puerto Princesa

It is a bit difficult to find because the signage is not clear enough. At first, my thought was that the street would not be safe especially for a female solo traveler but it was alright. The Matress was not quite comfortable.
My stay at Mojo Hostel was quite okay. It is in a quiet place, really close to the airport (3minutes by tricycle) and the rooftop restaurant is quite great for chilling.

The room doesn’t have a lock. It was a bit stressful getting a taxi, even though I’d arranged it the night before, I was told the taxi couldn’t go to the airport due to the road closure for a triathlon but then I said I need to go and they called the taxi driver again and he picked me up and took me, so some warning the night before would have been good! I also got a banana smoothie from the bar which was very watered down and tasteless, wasn’t sweet like all the others I’d got on my trip.

The place itself looks nice, well designed and comfortable. I really liked the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, the seafood options were not available so we went to the bay front area restaurants. Our private room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but we didn't have any issues whatsoever.
