Asked many times for an iron. Told that there was none available. Instructed to use laundry. I wanted to iron myself. The following day, different day and different staff and I was able to get an iron and ironing board.

Location and the pool. The beach was beautiful. Restaurant served very good food. A pleasant stay and will probably come back.

I’ve stayed at Movenpick Boracay 4x times and have always had a very pleasant experience each time. The long stretch of semi-private beach and the huge pool were amazing as usual. Mind you I’ve stayed at neighboring Shangri-la as well but the beach and the pool there just didn’t measure up 😅 Only thing the resort could look into is the water pressure. Bidet water pressure was a bit weak, but no other complaints apart from that.

Beautiful resort tucked away amongst a couple of other 5 star resorts you can walk along the secluded beach front in peace .. only minutes away from all the restaurants, cafes, night life by tuk tuk and only 300 pesos.. such a beautiful island .. must see .. we staying in a junior suite which I don’t think was good value for our money .. would recommend only a normal room close to beach . You are hardly in there with so much to see and do

The rooms we were initially allocated to, were not up to the mark. However, we did move on the 2nd night. Prices were highly inflated for restaurant and bar items - really not worth it. Bathrooms lacked finesse - for the price point, would have expected better.

Great location - away from the hustle and crowd. Just a 15min ride from the city centre. Private beach - clean, vast and great water. Staff was excellent and very receptive.

The hotel is already too old and not fully renovated, and the room was not what we expected. We paid for the upgrade, but it was not worth it for us. We booked a Junior Suite and upgraded it to a Premium Suite. The food was good, except for the cocktails. We love drinking cocktails, but the mixing was not done well. We drink cocktails every time we travel to another country.

The approach to the hotel in on a steep hill, getting to and from the hotel had to be motorized

The breakfast was ok but definitely not at a 5 star level. An example of this, and maybe it is a seasonal thing but the options for fruit were pineapple and watermelon, one day, apple. So not a lot a options...

Beautiful secluded location with access to one of the best beaches (and private) in Boracay. Lots of sunbeds on the beach both in and out of the shade. There's a good Italian restaurant that makes delicious pizzas and pasta, although some of the options where not available as they were out of stuff like eggs (!). You can also enjoy the daily chocolate hour (3pm) during which various chocolates and pastries are served. As the resort is a little bit far from the main stations, there's a complimentary shuttle to D’Mall. Takes around 10 minutes and I advise you to book in advance. The staff is great, kind, always willing to help and attentive. I cannot praise them enough and this applies to everyone from the restaurants staff to the pool staff, specially JUMER at the reception, kind and funny. Rooms are silent, clean and very large with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Overall this is a very nice resort.

You have to wait a lot for service everywhere. Especially at the beach bar. The staff sees that we are waiting, but no one feels it is their job. We had to call several times for someone to come there and unfortunately this happened every time. This should not happen in a Mövenpick hotel.

The hotel is surrounded by a very beautiful, well-kept garden, and the beach is wonderful.

There’s just a bit of confusion with the room booked and how it was advertised.

Very poorly sound isolation between hallway and room, when your neighbours enter or leaves their rooms or talk in the hall way you will hear it very clearly. When lights are of in the room you can see how poorly the door fits so light and sound comes in very easily. Worn-out room - old broken telephone where the cord keeps falling out so you have to hold it in to make calls to reception, really bad tv and signal, and sloppy construction of bathroom. In general the room is more a 3-4 star feel than a luxury resort. Not possible to arrange an international call despite emergency. Often sold out of things on the restaurant menu. Couldn't make a simple sandwich one day, or a certain pizza another day, due to being out of things. Out of certain beers on and of as well.

The beach, pool and restaurant areas are really nice and something to behold and experience. Really nice and top notch. The staff is also very nice and helpful.
