This property is not for everybody. No hot water, no wifi, a lot of noises outside ‘nature noise’ and a lot of music from the buildings next to the accommodation. It is not easy to sleep there because of that even though the bed was very comfortable.

It was a good stay overall for 2 days but not recommend for a longer stays. Host lady was great and helped us with everything we asked for.

Obviously not the owners fault but as someone who struggles with noise due to rainfall during the day there was a lot of noises from animals at night including toads which meant we only slept 1 hour all night, just be aware.

The staff were super nice and understanding. It was a unique experience and the huts were gorgeous, the fan was more than enough to keep the huts cool.

lots of bugs, as it is on a field. but the bugs were everywhere, shower, toilet, bed, falling from the roof. we expected to see bugs, as we are in a remote beach town on a field in port barton. but we did not expect to see so many wings of bugs, dead bugs, and living bugs on our bed sheets falling from the roof … being a “glamping” experience, we should have expected it. when we asked to change the sheets / room , the staff came immediately and took care of that for us. staff also helped us with motorbike. also, no air conditioning , take that in consideration when coming to a place as hot as port barton.

the baby cats were cute. it was pretty from outside. staff helped with any problems.

I hate to leave a bad review but it was not a comfortable stay here. There was no running water during our stay and we were not notified of this before. For the price we paid we expected to have some amenities but there is no wifi, no hot water, no drinking water, no toiletries. and no furniture in the room other than the bed, making it difficult to store stuff. The sheets had stains and there was dust all over the floor. A lot of mozzies got into our room despite being careful. There were a lot of mozzies in the bathroom area as well and we needed to be wearing insect repellent at all times. I tried to express our concerns to the host through booking.com as there was no one at reception. they never replied so we decided to leave and stay somewhere else.

The huts are cute and the location is nice. The bed is comfortable.

There is a bar near to the hotel and you cannot sleep for that noise until late night . To enter the street where the hotel is located, it is a street that has a lot of mud and entry is complicated.

The staff is kind , specially the old women when you make the check in . Beautiful :))) .

A lot of moskitos and insects if you go out of the accomodation. If you want to go to the toilet at night it may be a war vs the moskitos

For the prize we payed we expected more. We did not really get a proper check-in, there was no airco or mosquito net, and of the two toilets only one was working. This was our most expensive stay in all our three week trip, and were a bit disappointed.

We are very happy to have chosen that unique place in Port Barton. With only 3 huts make it a very special and quiet place to be. It’s located 10 minutes walking from the beach and town center which we loved to walk. That make this location a quieter place. Although you can listen the party music from other resorts >300m away (but this happens all around town). The huts where very clean and cozy as well as the toilets, showers and common areas. Every detail it’s taken into account with lots of love. The beds where very comfortable and we could rest very good. We where very surprised that even being in the middle of a green field there weren’t many mosquitos. Although we recommend to bring some masquito-spiral. Maike, the manager is a very sweet person and was willing to help us with anything we needed. From tour organizations, rent a bike or transportation. Also they offered very delicious breakfast (both Phillipino and continental) which we loved. If you are planing to go to Port Barton we recommend you to take your earplugs, since from 4:30AM in the morning you will listens the rooster singing competition from all over the town. That was charm though :-). If we ever come back to Port Barton we will repeat! Thank you! Salamat Po!

Important: no airconditioning, no hot shower, no WiFi, no cellphone connection. Sometimes there was no water in the shower and if there was, the amount of water fluctuated. Toilet didn’t flush well and was clogged several times a day. Sheets had stains in it. Hut was not completely waterproof. During rain at night, we felt water drops. Our bags were humid the next day.

Very special place to stay at. Only recommend if you do not mind staying somewhere not luxurious.
