How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was a constant noise like furnitures movemen, specially at night and other construction noise in the evening- so we couldn’t rest/sleep properly. Others, like staffs, cleanliness and facilities are good.

You have to buy the toothpaste

The hotel doesn't offer the value for money one would expect. The location alone doesn't make this a good hotel when the facilities are too basic for the price you pay... Stained sheets, frayed bedspreads that beg to be replaced, towels that smell like tilapia... This hotel's quality is terrible, and they charge like it's the Sheraton.

Danica at the reception was not particularly helpful. She also did not give another key to the 2nd registered guest. This made the trip inconvenient as we needed to coordinate every time we need to go back to the room

The size of the room.

The room size, but I was prepared for it because of previous reviews. I've actually been in smaller rooms (e.g. Tokyo Shibuya) so I was perfectly ok with the room size because I was a lone traveler. Two people with their full complement of luggage in the room at Red Planet would be a challenge and I would think an uncomfortable fit. BUT... you can't beat the price (value). It's also the best location for the price because you're still within the edge of BGC proper (5-minute brisk walk to Uptown Mall), there is a very nice restaurant attached to the side of the building, a Starbucks across the street and a 24-hour McDonalds across the corner from the hotel.
N/A - did not have breakfast while I was there.

Shower drainage is slow and there’s a weird smell in the shower.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Location is pretty good, everything is walking distance and the neighborhood feels very safe. Huge bed and it was comfortable.

Great location but rude staff, had to ask 3x to have the room cleaned. By the 3rd they said they already cleaned but the trash was still full, had no toiletpapier for a day and no sign of cleaning

Check in process
Check in was chaotic. We had to stand in line at 3pm for 45 minutes to be placed in a queue and then they called out our name 20 minutes later. Not logical at all. Soap dispenser was out and they gave us only one pillow per bed.

Very tight and small rooms. Good thing we booked 3 rooms. For Me the Rooms are only good for max of 2 adults and 2 small children.

Location.
I suspected they will find a way to extort you with $$ Upon checkin in. There was no mention we can’t eat fruit. We had some and they complain about the smell and wanted to extort $$ from us. Moment we told them they did not mention it at all upon checking in they cut the price of the smell at 50% we where on tight time our taxi was waiting since we have a flight and need to leave to we just paid it but it sucks!

You won't find a toothbrush in the room. You won't find a dental floss in the room. You won't find slippers for when you leave the bathroom. You won't find a couple of tea or coffee bags waiting for you when you arrive tired from the trip to the hotel. Towels don't smell like they've been sanitized. On TV you can only project your apps from your phone, for example Youtube... But you can't watch a movie from the cable channels.
