United StatesThis is NOT a 4 star hotel by a long shot. Not sure it would be a 3 star either... Don't get fooled by the pictures on their website they don't depict the actual condition of the hotel. Very noisy through the wall A/C. Window looking at a wall with no sunlight. Hotel is also pretty noisy inside. Service is OK and the food at the restaurant is pretty bad. Hotel also has weird rules, they are requesting to post a 1000 pesos deposit in cash only. If you want 2 keys it an extra 500 pesos deposit... So considering the price it is not a good value.

The rooms were quite nice, and the hotel was well placed close to a mall. The cafe had excellent food and drink, and we enjoyed a New years dinner there, to much satisfaction. We will definitely consider The Pinnacle again the next time we go back to Davao.

United Arab Emirateslady security in the afternoon wasnt that helpful. not accomodating when asked how to get to the parking area. didnt offer any help or courtesy. parking area is behind the hotel and doesnt have an access door/lift and you need to walk all the way back to the entrance/reception from the outside. facility is dated. not well maintained. i stayed in other hotels which is more older but they have kept it in good condition and was able to make renovations. my bed sheets seem to be itchy specifically the bottom sheets. so needed to use the duvet/blanket to cover it. can hear someone sneeze from the other room so not sound proof found small cockroach in the toilet and dresser.
location is good. near the mall and somehow not as expensive as other hotels. check in was quick and receptionist was very good and accomodating. lift/elevator was also quick. didnt need to wait. beds are big and room is good size. tv has cable channels and wifi is good. washroom has a bidet and hot and cold shower.

United StatesRooms need major upgrades, for example, shower curtain attached with zip ties. Most UNCOMFORTABLE bed EVER…woke up with tremendous back aches. The place is due for a major reno. Breakfast wasn’t great. I’m using American/European standards, by the way, to be fair.
