This was such a magical place. Having your own cabin in such peaceful surroundings is wonderful. The staff were really friendly and everything was perfect. We only stayed for one night and did wonderful before if it was worth travelling from Cebu city for the one night. It completely was, two nights would have also been amazing but one night was great. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very big.

It's not for everyone, because your next to the mountain river in an open setting the beds are always damp. Nothing much that can be done about it unless part of the Villa gets closed off completely

Not major but it would've been reassuring had we been allowed to park inside the gated area and not across the street.

The place was truly magical and enchanting. Experiencing a serene quick getaway was a great tool to refresh everyone in our group of 11 adults and 1 infant to reconnect with each other and recuperate. Good food and worth the long travel! Every staff present went out of their way to assist us in carrying our things from the parking to the premise.

The treehouse was gorgeous! There is a private springs for swimming or lounging, and a river bank to explore. The hammocks were the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding forest. The house itself is gorgeous and looks exactly like the photos. What’s not pictured is the awesome staff that is there to answer questions and serve meals.

To be honest, it was a long drive from Cebu, but it was so great to test it and to see it from my eyes that I had to book it! What an amazing experience! The staff was so friendly and kind that I would go again whenever I’m near Cebu! Salamat Kaayo 🙏🏼

We had the most fantastic stay at Treehouse De Valentine. From the moment we entered the vicinity, the staff treated us with kindness and were very attentive to our needs. The photos of the property really don’t do justice- the accomodation exceeded our expectations. The place was beautifully furnished, clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable. There were many useful ammenities such as fresh drinking water available, fantastic wifi, excellent aircon, universal charging points, entertainment such as Netflix (not that we used it because we were so immersed in the rainforest) as well as a mosquito trap to keep the bugs out of our rooms. Communication was fantastic, Renato was available via messenger/call to attend to any of our needs. The food was incredible, we loved ordering from the menu and receiving fresh, local produce to our rooms. We were even lucky enough to receive an in house massage by three talented ladies who gave us the best massage in the comfort of our own villa! I definitely plan on coming back to this little paradise and recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you for an incredibly stay to the entire team!

A beautiful treehouse immersed in the forest where we could see all sorts of colourful birds and hear the stream below the treehouse and different animal sounds all around, notably a loud gecko that woke us up every morning at about 5:30 at sunrise; loved it! We would definitely come back again.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable, and there was no water for one day - unfortunately the afternoon we planned for relaxing at the treehouse :-(

The setting is beautiful and relaxing, there were three double beds which were quite comfortable. There was a kitchen too, but we didn't use it.

The staff weren’t so helpful. As a solo traveller I like to know what my options are and where to go. But really they showed me my room and that’s it.

Such an amazing unique experience. The treehouse was incredible, with access down to the river right beside my accommodation. So tranquil and even better than the pictures. The drive was a little long from Cebu city but stunning views over the mountain!!

Some issues can be immediately and were mostly resolved, just need to be communicated (a walkie talkie is provided) explicitly. E.g they wouldn’t do daily housekeeping if you don’t ask, and even if they did, it’s just a quick making of the bed and not replenishing supplies or even emptying out trash. Did appreciate the immediate acknowledgment whenever something is raised. Depended on in-house cafe/catering, pretty okay. Does have limited availability for last-minute add-ons or orders though, so order well in advance. TdV is a gem within Balamban for sure, but hope the local government unit would care for the surroundings a bit more as it holds lots of promise that seems to already be taken for granted/neglected.

Beautiful Treehouse and location (at least the immediate vicinity), friendly staff, really appreciated the privacy.

The only thing for improvement would be to have a small van /bus that would take guests into town. So they could shop for their own dinner. However, the dinner they provided was amazing

I loved the private spring. I loved the treehouse itself. There was loads of room everything was clean and it was private and quiet. We also had a tent, which was beautiful and spacious, with its own private plunge pool. The manager, Rene was amazing. He helped with dinner and even organised jolliebees on the first night for us. I loved everything about this 2 night stay and wished we stayed an extra night.

I didn’t like it that they didn’t had air conditioner and it was very stinky in the room. They didn’t had good internet connection so you need to stay in front of the door all the time if you want to connect. Something very important don’t drink the water for the filter there it’s not clean and the food it’s not so tasty. The last thing that you have to think before you decide to go, the place is far away from the centre and from the sea.

It was so nice experience for me. The place it was very beautiful and comfortable. The vibe in to the jungle it was the best and the house inside was magical. The staff were so kind and happy, you will like home.
