Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaUpon booking I opted for 2 beds instead of 1 queen bed. But when I had checked-in I was given a the opposite. The second thing was, I needed to request for a room make-up. I supposed it should be done on a daily basis. Meanwhile, I have to acknowledge the lady who did the room. She was very efficient and accommodating to my request. I was very happy and satisfied with her service. I guess her name was Jane.
The staff were excellent, from the door man up to the people who were serving our breakfast.

AustraliaCheck in/out very slow. There was a line of people and all 3 staff stopped to address 1 issue. It’s lost the super welcoming staff and not even a record we stayed here for over a year previously.
Well located. Room was clean and light. Staff friendly but not overly welcoming. Great view on 31st floor

The hotel staff are exceptionally accommodating, very welcoming and helpful. The room that we were in is spacious and comfortable. We like the minimalist but elegant design of the room. And the room spray smells really nice. Rooftop restaurant has the best view at night.

AustraliaGym is too small with limited space and equipment given the size of the resort and the number of guests it can accommodate. Perhaps management might want to consider expanding the fitness centre.
Excellent customer service. I was given a free upgrade from a de luxe room to a one bedroom suite. The bed is comfortable, the room is decent in size, and it is bright because of the windows. The room is clean and so were the beddings. Housekeeping staff do an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness. Reception staff were very courteous, polite, and respectful. The nest dining has an amazing ambience.

PhilippinesOur Filipino CEO had an incident wherein he noticed he wasn't been greeted by the bell boy or guards whenever he walked through the main doors, be it when he went there at night, or in the next morning to pick the Korean team up; yet whenever he escorted the Korean CEO to the company car, they were greeted altogether by the door staff. It didn't bother him until it was on the day of check-out when he lost his nerve because the security guard or bell boy's body language was blocking the entrance when he was about to go back inside after talking on his cellphone outside on the street in front of the main doors. The guard asked him in Filipino (loosely translated) as to where (or what business) does he have in the building, and the Filipino CEO responded saying that he was the one who booked the hotel, that he was just inside the lobby a few minutes ago, and he's been going in and out of the lobby for the last five consecutive mornings. He felt discriminated, and issued a complaint at the Front Desk. The head of Security and the Front Desk manager both thoroughly apologized to the Filipino CEO and made a promise that all of their security team will undergo a two-day training to improve their service. Though understandably it is protocol to ask questions as a security personnel, it is ridiculous when the person was just inside the lobby a few moments earlier, even sitting and eating at the couch with his 711 snacks, and that he's been there every morning for the past five days. Another pet peeve is the toilet at the lobby --- there is only one shared toilet for the men and women, yet there is no sign indicating where the next available toilet is. The Filipino CEO noticed there were women lining outside the bathroom while someone was using it, and it wasn't pretty.
We booked 3 rooms, one Deluxe, and two Bedroom Suites, of which the Filipino team were able to visit the one Bedroom Suite of the Korean CEO. As per the translator, he said the CEO liked the size of the bedroom --- it was big, and it really felt like a proper suite. The little living room area inside the main bedroom provided a sense of privacy to talk about business when we had meetings there, even if the bed was right behind us. The fridge, kitchenette, and dining area was separate (we felt it was more comfortable to be in the living area to have a meeting), the TV LED was Samsung, and the CEO said the bed was comfortable. The room had a beautiful view overlooking Festival Mall and the Alabang area, and the Korean team felt that the walking distance and location of the hotel was worth it. The security feature of the hotel floors is oddly secure --- there are nets in between several floors (the building is open in the center) and one cannot go inside the hallway of the bedrooms from the elevator without the key card of the hotel room. The parking slot outside the hotel was nice, it had ample parking space, and it is something that the other hotels in the area do not have. The hotel is also very accessible to Festival Mall and other shopping areas, and there is no traffic or noise. Overall the Korean team loved having breakfast at the Nest because it overlooks the Laguna de Bay and Filinvest City.
