Marvie and her husband were super helpfully, we felt really welcomed and beeing taken care of. They helped with everything and you could always reach them. The garden is very beautiful with a nice kitchen area. We were able to rent a scooter and surfboards with them.

Loved our stay here…everything is clean and tidy…staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the filtered water in the bedroom…super helpful for us foreigners that are constantly needing to buy bottled water. Would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic homestay. The owners are incredibly helpful, I was shown all of the surf spots in the north. Barry was very happy to give me all the best spots and showed me where they are on his scooter. It's a comfortable place with a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here!

Weeroona is such a wonderful homestay. The family are so friendly and welcoming, you really feel at home here. Perfect location. Rooms are basic but just what you need to relax by the beach. The hosts were very helpful in arranging transfers and surf lessons with their neighbour Jamie, who was great. Would really recommend this homestay to anyone coming to Pacifico!!

We are deeply grateful for the exceptional hospitality that exceeded our expectations. I was pleasantly surprised of Weroona Family took us on an island tour, showing us various tourist spots and Family feast food . I was treated not as a tourist, but as part of the family. This trip reminded me of the importance of staying united as a family, regardless of circumstances. Travel not only brings joy but also reveals that there a lot of good people in the world, quite different from those we encounter in our daily lives. The best part of our trip that we meet a family that treated as a family. I've traveled to many places around the world, including the Philippines, but this place stands out as the best. It truly felt like home, thanks to the genuine Filipino family hospitality I experienced.

I got one of the two smaller rooms that is cooled with a fan rather than a/c. I am too soft, too modernized, too spoiled to live without a/c in the tropics. But that was on me, as the larger accommodations there all have a/c.

Marvie and Barry could not have been more personable or helpful. From showing me surf breaks, to taking us to a swimming hole, to giving advice on local restaurants and everything Siargao, they went above and beyond. Also, I really enjoyed the food in Pacifico. For such a small town, there were several restaurants to chose from and I ate very well.

We don’t usually leave reviews however we felt obliged to in this case. Barry and his wife Marvie were super helpful, welcoming and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For example, they offered us to join them on a trip to the big supermarket on Siargao (about an hour away) and also invited everyone staying at Weeroona to join them and their friends for a barbecue, feeding probably 10+ mouths a lot of food, all for free! In addition to this, after we had left one of us had a medical emergency and Marvie was so helpful in pointing us in the right direction of good hospitals, ferry times and organising transfers for us, purely out of her own willingness to help. It’s acts of kindness like this that really makes a difference to one’s time whilst away and has left a truly lasting impression. The beds were comfortable, bathroom in good condition and wifi was very good. The location is also perfect, right opposite the beach and not far from the other amazing beach towns of the North. They do offer moped rental and at a very reasonable price too and can arrange surf lessons for you. Weeroona is hands down the best accommodation experience we have had whilst travelling and I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone thinking of going to Pacifico.
