Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandIt is extremely remote, there is no shop near by and no restaurant to have any food. Everything is a taxi journey if you don’t rent a car. Also if you want the hot tub you need to let the host know to start it as it takes 6 hours to heat up. I wasn’t told this when reserving so when we got there we couldn’t use it that day. We were only staying two days. We didn’t realise you had to ask the night before or early in the morning if you wanted it, so by the time we asked the second day we were told it was too late. Basically we were left to figure things out for ourselves, very unhelpful.
The property was beautiful, just as seen in the pictures when I was booking. Extremely picturesque.

United KingdomNo rules on noise. Other guests arrived after 3 days where we were the only guests. They were making noise until the early morning, with children running around and screaming. Sauna was right behind the bedroom on our property and the new guests were in and out of there while drunk, until we told them to shut up. Very basic amenities for the price. We paid £550 for 5 nights, which was discounted. We expected a lot more in the way of comforts for that price. You get a small fridge, a pair of hobs and a kettle. Yes you get a barbecue outside, but cooking indoors for just 3 of us was not enjoyable. Restaurant not open for the first few days were there so that wasn’t an option. Pillows. Without doubt the worst I’ve ever slept on. Horrific. Towels. I’m not a large person, but when it takes 3 towels to dry myself after a shower, they must be pretty dreadful. They actually squeaked when you rub them over your skin. Location was quite remote. Restaurants were walkable but the roads were not safe to walk along, locals generally trying to be Robert Kubica. Would’ve booked the smaller chalet had we been aware that they had a fully enclosed outside area to stop our dog running away. This wasn’t shown in the photos when we booked so ended up booking the larger, more expensive chalet with open decking area that required us to tie our dog up at all times.
Quiet at first, before other guests arrived. Good facilities, if they were maintained better. Parking close to chalets. Friendly staff.
