Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomTo be told, we were not allowed to park our vehicles in the car park because there was too big. However we have been parking these vehicles in this car park for over a year on our return from delivering aid to Warsaw. There was vehicles in the same car park bigger than ours, but there was Polish. I’m not English felt very discriminated against

GermanyPer the hotel website, parking was available (no reservation necessary), however on arrival, I was informed that parking was not available to me because I did not make a reservation.
The guest room was as expected based on the website description. The breakfast offering was of a good variety. The beds were comfortable. Climate control worked well.

UkraineThere were not enough sockets in the room, it was difficult to use the fan and charge gadgets. The bathroom only had soap which I had to wash my hair as I was hoping for shampoo. But he wasn't. There was also no toilet paper. The bed is too soft, the back hurts after it.
Staff and locations were good.

PolandWe stayed in the hotel in summer, and it was extremely hot in the room (no AC), which is why we had to keep the window open throughout the night, but it was very loud outside so we had problems sleeping.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the main train station and the Old Town. The rooms were satisfactory, clean and with comfy beds. The breakfast was fabulous. You could also store your food in the kitchen fridge.

Czech RepublicThe windows of our apartment were facing the street side, which was really noisy during the whole night. Hence we couldn't sleep with an open window. No AC caused a really uncomfortable sleep in hot temps. The shower had constant temp changes.
Close to the center. Breakfast was included in price, good variety of food.

CanadaNo clim. I had to keep the window open at night - with street noise. Noise is also a problem between rooms - we hear neighbours coming late, their discussion, etc... Not so discreet and disturbing. One pillow per bed. Not comfortable. Very small rooms (single occupancy).
Location is great. Breakfast is good with variety of food. Convenient. Security is good with codes to access hotel and corridors. Reception is open 24h00.

ItalyBehind the wall of the room we were given there was a large ballroom with a student’s party going on almost all night. Loud music and noise from lots of people passing by, literally centimeters behind our heads. When we asked to be moved to a different room, the hotel staff said there’s no other room available, and offered the alternative to go look for another hotel.
Rooms and reception seem recently renovated, though the structure is an old building. Quite clean overall.

GermanyOne of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. I couldn't get asleep as neighbors were very loud like till 3 o'clock in the morning. Wall's sound proof is terrible. You can literally hear what neighbors are talking about. The elevator is extremely slow. It seems like they did it on purpose so guests would have to wait for ages before the elevator picks them up. Rooms are very tiny and dirty, beds are extremely narrow and very uncomfortable. They are so greedy they would not even offer a free bottle of water. Instead, they suggest you drink tap water. Breakfast is extremely expensive. And last but not least - they tried to rip me off for €50 because their smoke alarm went off even there was no smoke in the room. I will never stay at this hotel ever again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

IrelandPoznan seems to have a big problem with "boy racers" revving their car engines and squealing tyres all night. They certainly seem to visit the hotel area regularly. The noise level was very high every night and, due to lack of AC, it was necessary to keep the windows open which then made the noise level intolerable. I had requested a "quiet room" when checking in and was told by the receptionist that the room should be quiet - it was facing the road and was not quiet.
Room was refurbished and clean. Bathroom very good. Didn't partake of breakfast.
