The Vanderbilt lives up to its namesake. Beautiful property with lovely amenities and staff. The champagne at check-in and the pool and beach area are superb.

The hotel has so much history & glamour. I took my husband here for a very special birthday. I made a call prior to arrival spoke to Gustavo who was accommodating, professional & kind. I arranged for a surprise in the room which was beautiful with balconies overlooking the ocean & the suite was spectacular. From the moment we arrived The staff was exceptional. The room service was great they have butler service which makes you truly feel special. It is the perfect combo of glam yet everyone is so nice. I will be sure to book at this hotel again & again! Thank you to everyone at the Hotel for making my husband's Birthday so fabulous!

We made it clear at every restaurant visit that my wife has a rare allergy.... citrus. We discovered on the last day that the first restaurant we visited on the first day allowed her to order chicken that made been been marinated with a citrus product. Which explains why she felt ill on the second day. Other than that, CV was great.

Hotel staff was great. I remain unclear whether staff at the restaurants were CV employees or not. A few times, a couple of them were not at the top of their game.

Dinner service at Ola was slow and food quality was average. Different from the morning/breakfast experience which ended up being the opposite.

Room was big enough for two people + 2 bags. Had a beautiful patio which we did not enjoy much due to the hot/humid weather. Bathroom is outdated but very clean. Drinks and ambiance at VC Lounge was good (stiff prices though).

Construction began while we were there, however, for our inconvenience, they offered us a discount. I'm realizing that timing for maintenance can never truly be without inconvenience.

Everything from the lobby to the pools were very well maintained and comfortable. The service every day was exceptional. The staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make me feel special for my birthday celebration.

We liked everything about the property.

The property was absolutely fantastic! Great location in the Condado beach area. Beautiful rooms, great facilities, fantastic restaurants and an amazing infinity pool overlooking the ocean. But the best thing about this property is the amazing staff that was so warm and welcoming. We will definitely stay at this property again the next time we’re in San Juan.
