Totally worth the drive if flying into SJU! This place became one of our faves out of four trips to Puerto Rico. We loved how our host kept in touch, giving us tons of great local tips on their website. The apartment was huge and comfy, the biggest we've had on this trip. Having a full kitchen and grill was awesome, we cooked some meals and chilled out. Everything we needed for four days was there. The little pool was perfect for cooling off! It's a short drive to gorgeous beaches. Definitely go to Playa La Jungla, but get there early because they start to close at 4:30 and you gotta leave by 5. Then hit Santa Beach to keep the beach fun going! Also, try Umami restaurant near the beach – the food and service were amazing! They open at 5pm on Thursdays. ⛱️ We'd definitely stay at Palmeras Beach Apartments again!

A toaster would have been nice. Bedroom was too small for the bed, which was wedged next to wall. Odd odor coming from bathroom.

Good AC. Plenty of tableware. Nice fridge. Good lighting. Bed a bit soft, but quite comfortable. We didn't use them, but everything is there for grilling on the patio.

Too many mosquitos by the pool maybe because the pond was near by. Few small things like the towel holder in the bathroom was breaking, I saw ants by the sink, and some stained pillows.

The house is cozy, great to bring the family. It has all the necessary, towels, plates, cups, fridge, pool. We loved the roasters waking us up.

The food and store options were limited, but this was to be expected as it is a small, quaint beach community.

The Palmeras apartment is in a great location. It has stunning views in all directions of the mountains and down to the beaches. It was a very short walk down to the beach, where there was entertainment and food. The apartment was exactly as the photos show. The upstairs area provided plenty of fun. It was a great space that provided plenty of fun and entertainment for us to host our local family that came to visit. I recommend this place for families, couples, or anyone really.

The town is remote and not much is open during the week.

I don’t have any complain. The communication with the host was excellent. It was my fist time renting an airbnb, and in the end the host help me a lot in the process. Thank you Alexis for your patient and kindness.

I cooked by my own, but the location is pretty good. My family and I have some fun, staying there and we get relaxed from the stress of the week. Hoping we’ll come back soon in the near future. It was a good experience for me and my family.
