Our room was a bit well-worn, but probably because of a former drenching of a huge rain happens often in the island. Near the windows and some other points of the wall were weathered, but this doesn't affect the overall comfort of the room.

The views are beautiful to the ocean and to Pico as well. The staff takes care of the cleaniness all the day. The breakfast is really good. The apartment is in a good silent neighborhood near to Lajes village

It'd be nice to placa some shelf insude the shower and have more healthy options for breakfast.

The apartment was exactly as on photo. Prity large bathroom. Stuff is friendly and helpful: the receptionist helped us with ferry tickets from Faial and booking a whale watching tour.

I had ants invade the room the last morning. No food left out just a bunch of little roommates wandering around. It would be nice if there was some type of concession for toiletries and refreshments.

It’s clean and cozy. The view right near the reception and pool is breathtaking. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Overall no complaints, more a suggestion for consideration : - nowadays, people are more and more attentive to environmental/ sustainability issues. It would be nice to have in the room or in a specific place in the facilities a place to collect paper, packaging and bottles for recycling ♻️

Unfortunately for us and the host, we didn't have hot water for 2 days out of 3. Basically we showered when we arrived and then in the morning we left after days. We know it was an unfortunate incident but it really affected our stay in a bad way. The breakfast could have more local products, we felt a bit disappointed.

The location was excellent!! Centered and equidistant to anywhere we wanted to go either side of the island. It was also a very quiet place which was nice. The swimming pool was a nice extra for the kids. Finally I must say all the staff were really nice, available and helpful in anything we needed.

With our surprise the room (semi-underground) did not have any AC available. Also not even a mini fridge/a shared fridge was provided so be careful - this is a substantial difference from any economy room offered in the Azores. Also, as per the description of the economy room on their website, a kitchen should be part of the equipment - that was not the case and caused us a lot of stress.

The hotel offers a very nice breakfast, with also possibilities for vegetarians. The staff was also ready to help outside normal working times.

A welcome pack in the kitchen would have been handy no shops nearby and if you arrive at night and the restaurant is closed on the road below then you go hungry!!

Location was good however the entire building lacks character, much more visible in villages, some nearby. However, for the price, we felt very happy with our choice.

The room, although not very big, was very well designed and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and overall, we were both very happy. The breakfast included was simple but well served and the facilities made available were very good.

I think it'd be great if in the room there was access to a table with (at least) a kettle to be able to prepare a coffee/tea on rainy days (there are quite a few in Pico!).

I think the value for the price is excellent. Sea views from the room + Pico views upon opening the room door. We really appreciated that we got upgraded to a "better" room considering the low season. Check-in was excellent and the accommodation was in touch with us during the day (our flight was delayed by hours).

The room can be seen into from outside since the curtain does not cover 100%, there are a lot of mosquitoes. If you check in after 18:00 it is a self check in so pay attention. Breakfast is very basic

Just be aware that this is a hotel that is only open during certain hours for check in and check out and breakfast only. There's no room phones to call the front desk, so just be aware of that. Some people prefer someone who's always there to assist- for us speaking the language, we had no issues.

We upgraded and stayed in the newer rooms with AC and a balcony. Room was quiet, wifi was great. Smart TVs were a huge plus! Lajes is on one end of the island, Madalena is on the other side- be aware that Pico is a long island and it takes about 40 minute to get to each side. For us this wasn't an issue with a car. Some people choose to stay closer to the main city, where the airport is and where the boat dock is. This location was quiet and peaceful and not chaotic. Authentically living near the locals!
