Great location, next to few very beautiful beaches. Amazing swimming pool, not to crowded, sometime we were there alone. Variety of food for breakfast, delicious. Very comfortable king size bed. It’s small and kind of cozy hotel 😊

Though there are a lot of options for breakfast the quality of the ingredients could be better... I would suggest reducing the amount of things and focussing on quality!

Hotel Alcaide has a fantastic location and is a great value for money! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is always very kind and the pool area is fantastic. Great place to go as a couple.

Nothing really. The hotel does not have beach views but it does not claim To have them. They are small run hotel so drinks can be a little slow.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel, exactly as described, seems to be newly renovated, very clean, lovely pool, bout 5 minutes walk from the beach. We were able to order sandwiches and drinks while We were there to eat at pool. Great value for money. 12 of us stayed here as we were attending a friends wedding at another hotel, we had great fun. Good air con, good showers, Good hair dryer!!!

The breakfast could have been more varied, also some fresh juice would have been nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is perfect, very close to the Praia do Vau. The room was spacious and clean. The cleaning ladies came almost daily and it was so nice to come to a fresh and clean space after the beach! The breakfast was good, we usually enjoyed it outside, near the pool. I recommend staying here if you come to Algarve :)

The pool was fantastic and the location perfect. I liked that the hotel was near a quieter beach (Praia Vau) which meant that there was plenty of space, even on very busy days. The breakfast was good, served between 8 am and 10 am. Excellent coffee. The front desk staff also serve in the bar, but it was never hard to get a drink when desired. The room had a small balcony which was perfect. The room wasn't fancy but perfectly adequate and we had plenty of storage for the short time we were there.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were really friendly. They helped and informed us well when we needed help for taxis. The pool area was great and the bar was useful. Breakfast was a good continental one with a variety of options.

Only two sockets in the room, which made it difficult to charge several electronic devices at the same time, and no one socket near from the head of the bed. I did not like the look of the bathrooms, it was darker in comparison to the room. The door to the bathroom did not close well, the same problem was with the shower door. The sink faucet was leaking. The closet in the room was old with cracked paint and hard-to-close doors. Uncomfortable white sun-beds by the pool without backrest adjustment. The pool was a bit dirty.

Clean hotel, bright rooms. The stuff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and varied, high quality and freshness of products. It was important to find decaffeinated coffee and lactose-free milk. During breakfast, the staff actively served.

The bread rolls at breakfast were hard generic pre-cooked rolls you can get at Lidl. It would've been nice to have fresh Portuguese rolls from a local bakery. Also there weren't enough parking spaces for all the guests.

The bed was very small for 2 persons and there was no refrigerator in the room.

The hotel met the expectations, very clean, the room was big, a nice pool to enjoy the time there, very close to 2 wonderful beaches: Praia do Vau and Praia do Alemao. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is ok and there is a very good retaurant really close: Sal na Guelra.
