Quiet, very clean, great location and overall good value. Good ventilation as dorms have windows and high ceiling, bottom beds have curtains for privacy. Luckily there is extra toilet downstairs as the one adjacent to the dorm is with shower. At times people can take long in shower, especially tricky in the mornings in busy times.

Wifi only worked in the dining room/kitchen area. The door to my bedroom didn’t lock at all, the swipe key wasn’t needed as it didn’t lock. I was in a shared female 8 person dorm which was fine, however the bathroom was also shared with the room next to us which had males in the room even though we were staying in a female dorm we shared the bathroom with men. The staff were fine, but felt very weird whenever I was around them. I felt judgement coming from them often and not sure why. Got told off for not drying my (clean) dishes, I had put them on the drying rack while I ate my food while it was hot and then would dry them afterwards, and the next day the staff member who told me off left her filthy scrambled egg pan and other dishes in the sink while she ate her food, at least I cleaned mine so someone else could use them while I ate. Considering the wifi only worked in one place I was on the phone to my mum one day in the dining room and the staff were talking about me (in Portuguese), I could tell as I looked up and they were looking at me then quickly looked away, so was quite obvious. All in all the place was absolutely fine, the staff were just not overly welcoming.

Location was good, everything walking distance. Beds were comfortable and everything was always super clean. Kitchen was really nice.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to give it a low rating because of what happened to me. I had come around 4pm, I asked for a low bed as I have a phobia of high beds, but the lady at reception told me that there were no more low beds except in the mixed dormitory. I agreed and went back to my room to rest. A few minutes later, a girl arrived and was given a low bed! So I couldn't find any explanation for this except that it's a racist behavior, despite the fact that the lady at reception seems nice and helpful! Unfortunately I should have had a better experience if I had been offered this bed, I had come before her and no designation of bed numbers is made on booking, it's on the day of arrival that it's decided!

The Hostel was extremely clean and orderly. Everything seemed new and in good shape. Especially the bathrooms were quite spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful aswell.

The bathroom is shared between 2 rooms, each with 8 people. The shower goes cold if used for too long. So its nearly always a wait to use the shower or toilet. For me, a good shower is must for hostel. My friend stayed longer and said that the bed sheets are not changed between guests only sprayed with fabreeze.

The bathroom situation is quite awful. There is one bathroom for an 8 bed dorm and a double room, which means 10 people need to share one shower and toilet. Also the bathroom is located right next to the rooms so you can continuously hear people showering, coming in and out of the bathroom also at night so it’s hard to get a rest or sleep.

The staff was really kind and helpful. My bed was broken and they fixed it very quickly, which I appreciated a lot since I couldn’t really sleep the first night. The common areas are nice and the place has a cool vibe.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to sharpen the knives in the kitchen. They are SO blunt and dont cut anything which makes them useless haha

I loved my time here. The location is absolutely perfect. It’s so close to lots of cute cafes and restaurants without being too close to the main touristy area. The beds were comfortable and the lockers were spacious. Staff were also really friendly. Everything was also super clean, they clean the space everyday.

You are only allowed to on the light or wind up the window blind after 11am.So the room is very dark throughout and you will only see light after 11am. There is a chimney outside the room and you will smell the foods smell whenever someone cooks at the kitchen, and the staff will falsely accuse you that you were having foods inside the room.

This place is so charming and chilled.. Love it.. The staff went out of their way to fix my reservation for some extra days.. Really worth it.. The area is quite but still a walk away from the centre..

Too noisy, the sharing bathroom system is very annoying. There were people coming and going to and from the bathroom all night long and the bathroom is literally beside your bed. Not to mention the ventilation system that keeps you awake all night

When we checked-in the guy at the reception said we can use the laundry room to wash the clothes by hands. The next day we went to the laundry room to wash clothes. After half of the clothes were washed, we asked the cleaning lady where we could hang the laundry? she mentioned the place. But after sometime she came back (the same lady) and had very bad attitude and said we can't wash cloths in here. It's for staff only. But we didn't see any sign saying "only for staff" and reception guy said we can use it. The next day, we saw there was a big label stating "staff only". It doesn't make any sense that they don't have any coordination it just made us have so much trouble to wash clothes. The bed linens they provide us were dirty and seems like someone was sleeping on it before us. The WiFi only can connect around reception. we asked the hostel regarding the WiFi problem they said the corner they gave us the bed doesn't get WiFi network. We also asked them to change the room but they said no. Reception asked us to come downstairs if you wanna use wifi. But when we come downstairs in the kitchen, it's still the same WiFi problem, you can't connect. It's really a bad experience. The upper bed they gave us doesn't' have any socket or plug to charge the phone or laptop. It's really annoying when you wanna charge your phone overnight for the next day. I asked for the extension plug but they said no. I talked to the booking.com service but they also couldn't help me. I told them I hope they will fix the problem soon but it couldn't help before I checked out. and it's really difficult to use the internet because I have to work also. In addition, I don't have a plug to charge my phone or laptop. And the reception is not helpful at all.It's really awful to live there. Especially we booked 5 nights there.
