Beds were incredibly comfortable. large TV with Chromecast in the room, right down the street from the beach. Staff including bartenders and waiters, namely Joao, went out of their way to make our stay exceptional.

The water in the shower started turning cold after the second shower, which is a complaint I've read more often and hoped they had resolved it! Also, the parking garage is almost impossible to drive into (extremely steep and sharp corners!) For us it was not an issue, but if you have a slightly bigger, or lower car it would be impossible.

The hotel is brand new and well furnished, everything looks very well, clean and the staff is very nice.

The only small thing was some advice as to how all the modern lights and air conditioning can be adjusted.

Excellent new hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Great soundproofing.

Hot water with little pressure made for 2 x cold showers. Unclear why this would be occurring in a brand new hotel. Wifi connection did not recognise by surname used in the booking and registration. Perhaps not a good field to use as a username due to variations in spelling, structure, etc.

Location has great access to the park, beach, and an evening walk to the excellent fish restaurants nearby, or a variety of grocery stores for self provisions. Area is developing rapidly which is good to see making it more suitable for tourism. Hotel is great, but still getting established.

The sensor lights in the bedroom were far too sensitive & kept coming on all night , when you just moved in the bed .

The only negative point is for access from the parking, because the garage door is always closed, not being possible to access the reception (you have to go up the garage ramp. According to the receptionists, this is a recurring problem

Since it was the first day of "Queima das Fitas" there was some noise at dawn The car park is not very big, and so, it is difficult to park the car and exit the park.

It is a very recent hotel, and so everything is clean. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable The hotel receptionists were pleasant.

We stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations for a Sheraton Four Points. On the first day, we noticed that the sealed water bottle in the room was reused the following days — simply refilled with tap water and presented as new. The food at the hotel restaurant was very disappointing. The fish was clearly expired: it had a strong smell, was extremely dry, and obviously frozen. The steak was also below any acceptable standard. On our first night, we ended up ordering chicken tenders, which, surprisingly, were the only good dish we had during our stay.

The rooms were very clean and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and quiet, which made our stay more relaxing.

The shower doors were removed for maintenance, so water spread across the floor and hallway. The toilet area had a clear glass door that served no purpose. Easy to walk in to, restricted the area within the bathroom and didn't offer privacy, so not sure of its purpose. The parking garage requires some excellent spatial relationship skills involving an S curve down a steep decline.

When we arrived they said they didn’t have our booking and it’s not what you want to hear after a nightmare journey and not arriving till 1am. The member of staff at the desk was pretty dismissive and not that helpful

Hot food was served cold and had to be re- cooked so long delay between ordering and finally eating.

The air conditioning was not effective (and it was too loud outside to keep the windows open), so there was a general lack of air circulation/much too hot. The lack of air circulation was also evident in the corridor where there a smell of closed damp places lingered, which should not be the case in a virtually new facility.

The location was perfect for our visit to the Casa de Cha (reason we chose this hotel), as well as being just a short trip into Porto. We loved the modern interior with large and wonderfully comfortable beds. We appreciated the rain shower, and were very grateful for the coffee/tea facilities (which does not yet seem to be common in Portugal).
