good location, good value for money

The door lock is just a normal room door lock, that is not very trusty. But then again, who would steal my underware?

It was all that I needed. Very clean, enough room, easy getting in and out. For the price it was really good. Metro is not too far. There is a Mini Market near by and a really big supermarket next to the Metro Station. Oh and a very tasty little imbis one block down the road. I will came back if I am back in town.

Beware: the owner asked me pay a city tax which booking confirmed that was already paid through the app. Other than that: the lady speaks very little English and does a lot of useless questions but she's still nice person, while the gentleman is less patient and mentioned some offence towards my nationality in Portuguese.

Location. Room was ok, common area quite messy and a bit dirty. Not exactly great value for money.

perhaps need to announce to the smokers that they should open the window on the veranda, so that the smoke goes outside and does not stay in the veranda.

close to the metro and actually very quiet / because my room was not facing the busy street. The veranda is good, but also it somehow is not great because if people smoke and dont open the window the smell goes into the rooms. had a slightly earlier check-in, much appreciated. bed was comfortable, enough space and access to the veranda where you can seat and enjoy the view of the interior yard.

The bathroom was a little dirty.

The owner was super kind. I got parking for the day, and he accommodated our early checkout time, then later in the day, checking out the parking. (We parked from 13:00 till 12:30 thr next day.

There are no comfortable pillows and miss a lamp for a light lightening. The other guests often forget the meaning door open. There's too much loud in the apartment and sadly I had the room right in front of the entrance, I could hear everything. :( There's only one bathroom for 4 families. If you want to leave your luggage they ask for 5 euros extra. It's not normal for the guests, this should be included. The location is a bit out of the center. The price for value is definitely high.

The room is spacious enough, there are shutters, plugs. There's a well furnished kitchen and the cleaning it's ok. The apartment is well kept. The staff is nice.

You here everything what happens in the other rooms. You cannot open the windows because you look towards the common kitchen/balcony.. This also means, I had to keeps the curtains closed all day long.....

No sings of hostel. Just some one with extra rooms to rent. Room was cold, no heater. Ants/bugs in the bathroom. Paper thin walls other rooms are loudly heard. Was no coat hanger to hang jackets or anything

Privacy. Lady that met mee was friendly and trieded her best to explain everything even tho it was difficult for her to communicate in English

There is no window in the room. And there is forced ventilation that constantly makes noise. But there is still not enough fresh air.

Convenient location, 20 minutes' walk to the center. It is possible to prepare food.

Some of the other people in the flat didn't try to be quiet very much (closing doors loudly) There were some construction noises every day early in the morning.

It was no problem that I arrived later than the official check-in time. The bed was quite confortable.

This is just a suggestion to the host. I think smoking should not be allowed at all. During our stay, there was another guest who spent most of his time smoking in the terrace, and even if our window was closed, we still got the smell coming inside. The smell was also in the kitchen.

Great location and very nice hosts. Comfortable beds and towels are included in the price. The bathroom is big and comfortable. I would strongly recommend it.

Great price for a private room close to the center of Porto. Perfect for a short stay.

One bathroom for us 4 staying there and 2 other rooms. Problematic. Host was very grumpy indeed when we arrived at 9.30pm. Not made to feel welcome. Badgered for tourist tax as soon as arrived.

Good to have kitchen facilities. Inexpensive.

No lighting in the stairs and the senseros in the corridor is programmed for only 2 second then light off (in order to safe money), while you are still walking to your room, SO YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR MOBILE PHONE LIGHTING to see where to put the key to open your room. The doors not easy to open/close, so you hear your neighbors when they open/close their doors

The place is older, so the smell is bad. You can tell they try to clean but it’s very gross. The bedroom, I’m not sure how clean the sheets were.. there was an extra blanket that for sure had never been washed. The walls are VERY THIN. You hear absolutely everything and the doors need to be pulled shut so everything is loud. You can hear everyone’s conversations from your room. Location is fine but I would spend more money and stay elsewhere

Not enough bathrooms - only shared amongst all groups. Hall lights go on when anyone gets up during the night.

Very comfortable for our group of 4. Loved having breakfast in the balcony.

This property was a decent choice for a few days. It is a short walk from the bus/train station. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The room and shared kitchen were clean. The shared bathroom was mostly clean but did get very wet due to a clogged drain. The host met us at the site with the keys and fully explained everything.
