The kindest owners we have ever met from a hotel/homestay. The room was very comfortable and the aircon was so nice to have at the end of a long day. Breakfast was cake and coffee and a lot of it. On the day we checked out we were able to store our luggage and when we came back we just chilled out before getting an afternoon bus. The owners let us use the toilets and even brought us water and more cake for an afternoon snack. Then when we were leaving they gave us both a Paraguay souvenir. If I was ever to come back I would not hesitate to stay here again just an amazing property run by the kindest people.

The breakfast on my second day was rice crackers. Even though I was told it would be mbeju. The sink wasnt too clean. The main road is right next to the window and i heard people talking right beside me sometimes, late at night walking the street.

Breakfast was good and the person I spoke to on whatsapp cared about my questions. Room comfy with aircon. Shower not amazing but good. Nice cushions and decorations. Quiet and peaceful. 10min walk from shop. Elderly woman very kind on check in and check out. Gracias

Too far out of the center - 45min walk from bus station ; nothing in the immediate area in terms of restaurants. This place is good when you have your own wheels. Small bathroom - little insects

As soon as I booked, they messaged me to ask if they could help in any way, and that continued to be the tone for my whole stay. I particularly appreciated them lending a bike to tour the town. Encarnación itself is a very neat town, with great parks and beaches.

We loved this Guesthouse. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, even providing us with tips on where to eat etc in the area. We were given a small breakfast each morning which was very thoughtful and the room was so cosy and great value. There was also safe parking for our moto.

The host was amazing, one day is was raining really heavily so it was impossible to go out. We were hungry but didn’t go buy food because we didn’t want to walk in a river. She probably sensed our hunger from afar and brought us homemade lunch to our room <3

Our stay at Hospedaje Encarnatión came out above any expectations we had. The room was cozy and comfortable with a nice bed, and good air-con and shower. Location is not bad, with access to some supermarkets, ATM, and a couple of restaurants. We recommend the nearby Cafe Amore for the best lunch deal in the area! Also: If you need a driver for sightseeing or transport to the bus terminal, it might be a good idea to ask for Ruben. But our experience was not only about the room, and the location. The owner Daniel, and all the other family members were the finest people we met during three months of traveling. We had a reservation for two nights, but extended time after time, and ended up staying a whole week. Hospedaje Encarnatión went to my top list after thirty years of backpacking. Thank you for an unforgettable week, Daniel!

- It's quite noisy. Rooms are at street level and during the day, there is a lot of traffic noise (especially motorbikes are annoying). During the night, there is little traffic noise, but the walls between rooms are very thin, so you can easily hear people in the room next to you. - The shower is inside the toilet. - The breakfast is very basic (but free): coffee and some slices of fried bread. Unfortunately there is no possibility to have additional (paid) breakfast items. Also in the surrounding there are no breakfast options within walking distance.

- Friendly family running the hostel. - A small complimentary breakfast is brought to you room. - Excellent value for money.
