Lovely little hotel in a good but quiet location in central Encarnacion. Three blocks from the bus station. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with an enormous bed. Good choice of items at breakfast too.

During the period of my stay they didn’t provide breakfast. It was not a big problem but would have make my stay much more pleasant as it already was.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot that I even extended it. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. The AC worked well. Just in front of my room was the pool. The Hotel is in a good area but there is not much to do. But within 10min walking you are in the city center and approx. 20min walking you arrive at the beach. The hotel is run by father and daughter which are soo nice and friendly. They always try to make your stay pleasant as possible and always available to help. The communication over what’s app was fast and always smooth. I can recommend Terwindt Hotel 100% and would always come back :)

We loved our stay here and it was one of my favourite hotels from our entire trip. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we needed to extend our stay due to plans changing and they made it so easy for us. Huge and comfortable beds and really nice bathroom with hot shower. Tv has loads of channels with all the sports available. Fridge in the room and cleaning service available. The pool was lovely and much appreciated with the summer heat here. Some great afternoons soent relaxing here. Close to the center with lots of shops and food options in a safe and pleasant small city environment. A real hideen gem of South America.

The family run hotel made us very welcome and our room was very nice. It was extremely clean, the shower was hot and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was also conveniently right outside our door. The hotel is in a good location, in walking distance from the bus station

Nice facilities and staff about 4 blocks from bus terminal. I don't know why they describe the room as a "budget single" as the bed is a wide double and there is ample space in room and bathroom. Great value.

The hotel is very nice, clean and the room was spacious. The family running the hotel is lovely and was always ready to help us. They gave us many recommendations for restaurants, taxis...and all were excellent. The hotel is located a few blocks from the bus terminal which was quite convenient. The hotel has a swimming pool and is very secure. Highly recommended! Excellent value.

I had a lovely stay at Terwindt - the owner and his daughter were really accommodating after I messed up my booking dates, and were flexible with my schedule of night buses to and from Asuncion. The hotel is in a great location and is very comfortable. Breakfast also very satisfying! I would happily stay here again.
