How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Elements by Westin City Center Doha, and I must say, it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality, elegant ambiance, and top-tier amenities made us feel right at home. The residence itself is beyond impressive spacious, beautifully designed, and offering everything one could ask for in a luxury stay. The attention to detail in the rooms, the comfort of the beds, and the overall cleanliness were simply outstanding. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. A special mention to Fadi, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. He is a true professional, always attentive, and his exceptional service made a huge difference during our stay. However, I was genuinely surprised to find that there was no hairdryer available in the room, as well as no retractable clothesline, which are standard amenities in most high-end hotels. Another minor issue was that sometimes when I called the lobby, there was no response, and I didn’t receive a callback, which was a bit inconvenient. That being said, these were minor setbacks in an otherwise amazing experience. The staff’s professionalism, the luxurious accommodations, and the overall quality of service make Elements by Westin City Center Doha a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a premium stay in Doha. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

Nothing that would come to mind.
Location was great, walking distance from two malls, corniche. Front staff was exceptional. Shoutout to Bahaa / Juan & Christine !!! Breakfast was good, more options were added while I was there. It appeared there was new Management who took over the restaurant where buffet was being hosted and they enhanced the experience !!!

It would’ve been great if they offered room service, but it’s not a major issue because the location is very central.

Everything went well
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel apartment. The property is in an excellent location, right across from Doha City Center and very close to the Corniche, with all essential facilities nearby. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment at no extra cost, thanks to Ebtihal at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My wife, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend this hotel apartment for anyone visiting Doha.

Only 3 things I didn't like about the hotel. First, breakfast, it was very very basic and nothing special. We even got bored with breakfast. The second thing is toilets. I need a very long time to get hot water. Sometimes we have to wait 5 minutes. Third things, TV. Sometimes not working properly.
In general it was good hotel. The location is the best, The flat was big enough with 3 bedrooms. The view was fine not bad. We may come again to this hotel.

The breakfast can be better, not much choice and could be better if they had an egg station there. Extra charge for omelette which didn’t mind paying but by the time you get it, it was cold.
The location was very good, view was very nice, had a balcony in my room which I really liked.

it just the breakfast
the Breakfast was not good, they only provided scrambled eggs on a daily basis if you needed any other protein, you needed to order including boiled eggs. so breakfast was not exciting.
