How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was not allowed to take my kids to the executive lounge during the happy hours, and the AC in my room was not that good. But, I talked to the front desk (Ms. Ramla and Ms. Shaimaa) about these issues, and they fixed all these issues. And for sure I will come again to this hotel.
The staff is good, and special thanks to Ms. Ramla and Ms. Shaimaa (front desk). The pool and beach are really good, I enjoyed my time on the beach. The food is perfect.

Room was described as sea view but it was a partial view (and of building site next door). No glasses in the room despite mini bar, not completely clean (hair in bathroom). No champagne at the pool bar!
Nice comfortable room and we were able to check in early. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Pool was lovely.

the Check in did not go smooth. issues with the credit card machines… had to withdraw cash … could not get my cash back as I wanted to pay with my card that perfectly worked for the check out….had to change my room that smelled smoke…And all this at 1.00am alter my trip.

The price of this property was a too much compared to peer hotels in the area. There are four elevators working between the lobby and the upper floors and all are very busy with quite sometime of waiting till one would find a small space to squeeze himself into the elevator. There were construction works happening in the hotel opposite to my room window, which made some noise early morning onward.
The overall experience was very good. The staff in the reception are very friendly, especially one African lady who was extremely helpful and nice when I checked out.

Honestly, the long queue for checking in and the hour I spent waiting for the room to receive. In addition, the boredom and being forced to stay inside the room and not being able to sit by the pool or on the beach at night. The lack of towels on the beach due to the unexpected huge number of visitors there.
The view was ok (side-sea view). the room service was amazing and the staff were cooperative. the beach and the room are clean.

i know my issue was due to the Eid high capacity however I was not happy with the situation. I booked two rooms(request connection) to have my kids close to my room (we are a family of 5) at the reception, they offered me an executive suite and (it has a log size bed and a couch) that they will add two beds in the living area and I accepted . till 8pm despite of our calls to the reception, we had no beds and when we approach the reception the answer was sorry we have no extra beds!!! so our answer was also simple, take the suite and give us the two rooms as per our booking! finally we ended up with one extra bed and one mattress on the floor for the kids. I am not happy and really annoyed but I didn’t want to ruin my stay (it was already short) with this thing and I decided to put it in the review.. other than that, pool, music , staff are super , food is amazing specially the dinner, the breakfast was toooo crowded (again due to the high Eid capacity) I will definitely go again but this time I will never accept promises!

I enjoyed the hotel completely.
The hotel was excellent. My room was large and spacious and the staff was incredibly attentive. I enjoyed the a la carte dining on the beach a couple nights and found the staff to be super attentive. The staff in the restaurant was also very attentive and paid attention to all needs. Such polite and gracious service.
