How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kits, bathroom sleepers or robe were provided, just pretty basic.
Very comfortable location, not very far from airport, right on a souk.

No parking facilities available in the hotel.
Excellent hotel located in centre of Doha city and easily accessible by road, metro etc. Room space meets our expectations and nearby you can find lot of restaurants of your taste.

i traveled during Ramadan n so the restaurant was closed , this was the only downsize .

The restaurant was closed due to Ramadhan. Should open in the evening
The facilities at the hotel were sufficient and the rooms were very clean. The Menuties were in great condition.

It is a bit worn down but at that price I think it is a great value!!
The kind reception when we arrived, suggestions for dinner etc and the beautiful view. Beds were perfect too. And a good shower.

The TV did not want to switch on. They have send someone to fix it while I was out. It worked when I came back. The next did it did not want to switch on again. The air conditioner was complicated to figure out. When I arrived in the room it was as cold as a refrigerator. I requested that someone come to make it warmer. This person apparently did not know how it was working. Later I had to request another "technician". He explained to me that it cannot make warmer than 21 degrees. He said it was better to switch it off. The hotel reception is suppose to know that and a user friendly information card should be attached next to the air conditioning switch.
The hotel arranged a taxi for me to pick me up at the airport. It was not cheap, but acceptable for a first time visit to Doha.

I like the deluxe room over looking the doha souq and cornice i book for normal room but i i ask the reception indian young lady to upgrade for deluxe and she did which is meet my satisfaction

The room television is extremely bad with no sound and it's black and white color 😭

Good location only a few minutes from the souk and easy to get around due to there been a metro station close by The room was quite spacious and included a kettle , microwave and a fridge The view from the room was good as could see the sea Check in was easy due to friendly and knowledgeable staff

The breakfast should offer food of breakfast, not lunch. For example, but not limited, Falafel instead of rice. Unfortunately, I booked this hotel because of its SPA facilities, but I was extremely disappointed. The pool size is for children. The steam & sauna rooms are tiny for one person only and absolutely useless as the sauna is cold, and the steam is burning because it's for one person, and its steam outlet burns your legs beneath chair.
Good location walking distance from old town of Souq Waqif, main markets, restaurants. Cosy rooms with mini refrigerator and kettle with tea and coffee. Good basic breakfast with welcoming lovely staff.

Located in a wasteland of redevelopment. No walk in shower so unsuitable for people with limited mobility.
