Some staff members were rude and not accommodating. The waterpark wave pool was shut down and we were not informed about some closures. Dining needs to be improved. We requested maintenance service, but the issues were not resolved. Kids club was disorganized. Disliked the idea of wearing wristbands to breakfast and dinner each time.

The hotel is new and clean. Waterpark is a perk. Valet service was good and professional. Enjoyed the sea view and the modern style of our room.

Excellent hotel. A shame the weather was so bad (cold & windy) otherwise I would have made more use of the outdoor facilities. Excellent room and bathroom. Good food and value for money with all-inclusive option.

Should have kid's club/space as kids are running around at the lobby lounge. Additional space for recreational activities such as table tennis/pool table if guests are not going to the waterpark. I find that staff working at the counter service (reception/restaurant) should be more welcoming. They kind of cold.

The sound proofing of the room to the hallway was not the best. Regardless, it was super quiet during the evening and we were able to have quality sleep.

The breakfast and dinner were amazing. The staff were friendly and helping. The buffet included all kinds of food and the ambience of the entire hotel gave off the true holiday spirit during our stay. Say thank you to all resto staff, Bonface, Mon, Angelica if am correct and all Filipinos restaurant staff

The lunch options for the all inclusive were not the best. Limited options and seating in the water park and the brasserie was not kids friendly. I wish in room dining was provided as a lunch option for all inclusive guests. Also the kid’s club was below standard. The first night we were there, it was only a few toys in an empty ballroom and the rest of the stay it was only bouncy castles.

Ceiling blinking light(smoke detector)was disturbing our sleep (we used to sleep lights off) and bedroom is not fully sound proof.

Excellent service,thanks to Mica/Myka from guest relation/guest service and Faisan from Concierge.We were very happy with breakfast buffet had lots of options/variety of foods to choose and the water park has many extreme rides. We checked in 3pm and I prepared some balloons.There was surprised cake served in the room and in the lobby comp drinks with Turkish delights that my sons enjoyed after water park closed. Thanks a lot Rixos hotel for the memorable staycation on my son's 11th Birthday.

The room was dusty, lack of restaurant option for dinner, very small kids club even though its a family oriented hotel, the rooms telephones doesn't work ( our room + our friend's one).

The hotel has a private entrance to Meryal's Park, which is the reason we choose the hotel. The lobby is cute too. The staff really care about the guests and do the maximum they can to ensure our satisfaction.

Really a beautiful place and the Waterpark games are very beautiful and enjoyable. Al-Qatifan Meryal Waterpark City is wonderful beyond imagination.

We enjoyed the access to the AMAZING water park. the staff are very responsive and nice. facilities are excellent such as swimming pools, kids club, restaurants, spa, etc.

the fire/smoke detector location in the room. it was right on top of the bed it keeps on blinking which was disturbing.

It was wonderful, the place is amazing check in and check out was smooth. Kristian in the reception is very helpful and welcoming. We came for my son's birthday and you did more than expected. The balloon in the room ceiling, the bed being made up with birthday wishes as well as the lovely cake. My son also enjoyed the water park and the beach club.

I faced several issues with the room, some of them solved, and some of them not... I think they have a maintenance issue. I had an issue with the lights "solved", I had an issue with the TV "solved" I had an issue with the fridge (was locked), and I asked them 4 times to unlock it. They always say OK we will send someone, put I gave up after 4 reminders. Finally, the AC was extremely cold, We couldn't manage to make it any warmer.

You could add several cameramen on premises, they could take pictures of guests while at the water park and help them keep memories. I missed taking my photos down the world’s largest water slide 🙃 And I really was disappointed by shuttle services . They called me an Uber who got me lost in city center!!!!!!! Ghazi and Uber plate no 17909 who was dressed improperly and smelled bad 😰

Electricity isn't reliable, frequently cutting off and on due to poor installation, We had an issue with it every day, and on our last night, the fire alarm went on for no reason, leading to a power outage. Strangely, the staff were aware of the situation. The staff responded to our requests only half of the time.

The fifth floor had no AC in the main lobby but in the corridors it was fine, some of the fittings that had the controls were loose, and the main phone wasn’t working all my calls to reception was made from the secondary phone in the hotel, the AC fan Vent was filled with Dust and despite calling reception the issue wasn’t fixed, also the room required a bit of cleaning when i checked in to it. The blinking green light from the Smoke/Heat detector in the room kept us from getting a fully comfortable sleep it was bright and it located over the bed.

The water park and the beach club where amazing, despite the hot weather it was fun to go around and try the games the oil rig concept makes it intriguing and adds a flare to the rides, the food selection at the buffet was good.
