Very friendly and accomodating staff. Location was a great spot for a short stopover - not too far from airport but also not far from museums and the market. I did get a quiet room which I’d asked for.

Things happening outside the hotel approx 20 metres away, especially Thursday & Friday night, which is not very good if you are a family with children.

The facilities were state-of-the-art. Nothing was missed of what you could imagine as the most comfortable stay. Breakfasts and a la carte dinners with a tasteful choice and waiters attendance immaculate. Reception manager employed all his skills to find another flight for free to Abu Dhabi as we were so well pampered that we forgot about continuing the trip further.

Beautiful hotel, downtown Doha, a few minutes walk to the old souk market place and other key attractions such as the Islamic museum and Cornish. Hotel staff were very friendly. We were there to discover Doha so the family spent minimum time in the hotel. There was a misunderstanding with regards whether breakfast was included or not. Hotel offered discount on the price of breakfast. A point i still need to take up with booking.com who were impossible to contact via telephone.

I have no complaints

The location was perfect for me and my family. The staff went above and beyond their duties. I have a physical disability. The hotel front door staff were very mindful of this and helped me in every way possible. The restaurant staff of Midan were very friendly and helpful. They made sure I was offered everything that I needed. I am very grateful to the housekeeping staff also in making sure my room was cleaned every day. Thank you Shaza Doha.

As regards Breakfast, the Dining room where breakfast is taken was lovely, beautiful even. The staff lead by Asif were excellent, service was first class. A combination of buffet with some A La Carte such as omelettes. Whilst beautifully presented, for me the balance of the Buffet was more towards carbohydrates such as breads, cakes, pancakes, I would have appreciated a wider choice of fruits and salads. Overall an excellent experience. On first entry my room was a delight to behold, classy, a beautiful combination of fabrics and blended colours. Very spacious, with a large bathroom. Everything worked well, it is after all a recent new build. The bathroom included a large vanity area, large bath, separate ‘rainfall’ shower, separate toilet area.

Coffee pods were extra. We had 4 guests in our room and there was only 2 coffee pods. There's no pullout couch bed. We had 1 complimentary rollout bed and would have had to pay for a 2nd on. So instead, 3 of us just cuddled up on the king bed (luckily it was my sisters and I).

The place was beautiful! You can tell it is well kept and cared for. The staff was superb from the security at check-in to the concierge. It is conveniently located and a short walk to Souq Marketplace which comes alive at night! Free water bottles which is always appreciated.

The breakfast wasn’t as good as most 5* hotels I have been to They had a small selection and the kids struggled a bit, the juices were sugary pre-bought not fresh

The room was brilliant The location next to souq waqif was good but got b busy at night The views weren’t that good tbh except from the rooftop They eventually honoured the booking.com policy of a 14yo child once I made my case and showed them the booking on my phone
