room size booked for 3 was a bit cramped once they provided the extra bed. better to upgrade to a suite if poss if your child is more than around 10 years old. restaurant in evening was supposedly open for dinner but no staff or anyone in the kitchen and no guests so we left and went without dinner. it was a Friday so understandable but in that case the restaurant should not be open at all.

perfect for a short stopover in Doha - room was great, bathroom very spacious, breakfast was a fabulous array of everything from continental to Arab to US style. nice pool area on roof.

It was value for Money ..

Breakfast was decent, however for dinner they could have changed the menu the 2nd NIGHT .. however NO COMPLAINTS .. would definitely stay with SHAZA if i ever travel to DOHA

We stayed at the Shaza twice on extended layovers in Doha. This is an excellent hotel, with excellent food, amazing facilities, and a wonderful staff. I had a chance to interact with Mr Srikant, the lady from Kazakhstan whose name escapes me, the Indian gentleman in housekeeping who helped return one of my daughters lost items, the chef at the Silk restaurant, and the staff at breakfast - all were incredibly hospitable and helpful. I would not hesitate in booking this hotel. It will be our go to property for future stays in Doha.

Room service was slow to respond to our request to bring water late at night and it took almost 40 min to bring them to room after 1 call and two follow up calls.

The location, the staff, and all the facilities were amazing! Breakfast is really good and the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, esp. Sonu...Highly recommended!!

We arrived at the hotel around 7AM. The hotel LET US check in! Imagine we were so exhausted after a long night flight. I've travled so many countries. This is the only time the room was ready for check in early morning. Overall conditions are still very new. Comfortable bed. Good room service. Friendly staff. Highly recommended! Great value for money!

A dinner buffet would have been preferrable to selecting from a fixed menu.

We had a wonderful stay at Shaza Doha. Upon check-in, we appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a higher floor. The room was spacious. beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Breakfast and lunch included a nice variety and served with great care and hospitality by the restaurant staff. Even though the weather was extremely hot, the kids enjoyed the rooftop pool and gym facilities.

The hotel and staff were fabulous. The location is great for a Doha stopover and not far from the souks. It is just 20 minutes from the airport by taxi. Will stay again when next in Doha.

I hope they could extend the pool time until late in the evening.

I booked two rooms for my family with half board included. The dinner that we had was a 3 course meal and it was exceptional. I forgot the name of the staff who served us that night (apologies), but we are really thankful for him for he attended our needs promptly. We had a breakfast buffet in the morning and there were lots of food to choose from. We wanted to have a dip in the pool in the evening however it was close at 6pm, which was sad as we were excited to have a swim. We just spent the night at their roof bar, had some drinks and shisha. Overall, it was a great overnight experience at Shaza, it's worth it.

Not a down side but room service and laundry can't be added to your room and must be paid for on the spot, not a big issue but was a little inconvenient.

A beautiful hotel close to souk waqif. All of the staff are incredibly attentive and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We had a late flight on the day of our departure and the front of house very kindly allowed us a late checkout. Special mention to Asif and the restaurant team who made sure I had vegetarian options for dinner.
