Our last evening at the Jarnen restaurant was very disappointing. Service was very slow and got order wrong 3 times . Ended up not having our drink with our meal . No compensation was offered .

Loved the location although it is outside of Doha. Accommodation was lovely and comfortable . Very clean and attentive staff. Special mention to Shehan, in reception who was very helpful and Mary in the Jarnen restaurant. Always greeted with a smile and helpful too.

The aircon adjusted its temperature and made for a cold head and top half with a warm duvet, didn’t make for a balanced sleep.

The location and the cultural submersion of the location being so close to Souqs. The breakfast with traditional Arabic food made for an additional pleasant surprise.

It would have been nice to have a beer and/or a glass of wine with our dinner but we understand this restriction. It is the only thing that could have improved our experience.

Every single member of staff were extremely friendly, polite and efficient. The hotel staff made us so welcome and went out of their way to be helpful. The service in the restaurant was exactly the same. We found the whole experience at Al Wakra to be outstanding. Out junior suite was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing at the pool.

The staff are very hospitable and polite. We booked for Super-king Room and they upgraded us to Junior Suite because they know we are celebrating our wedding anniversary and they decorate our room😍😍. We are very thankful for the effort. We love the location, its close to the sea, close to the al wakra zoo and close to souq alwakra with a lot of restaurant/Cafes. The view is so relaxing, the food in the breakfast is good with a lot of choices and the room is so nice. Definitely going to comeback for a longer stay next time.😍😍🥰🥰🥰

This is such a lovely, peaceful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The little swimming pool is perfect to relax by and kept my kids happy for a couple of days. The hotel backs on to the sea front and lots of cafes and restaurants, and is a lovely place for a walk and some food. So peaceful compared to Doha as well. Note the souq streets are fun to wander around but 80% of it is empty and not apparently operating anymore. The hotel's Azerbaijani restaurant was amazing and we also had an amazing BBQ seafood dinner in the centre of the souq.

The design of the hotel is amazing and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located nearby the old souq with plenty of restaurants and cafes choices. It was nice spending sometime walking around exploring the old souq.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I was welcomed with some ghawa and dates. I love the traditional look that meshes in with the souq. The staff are amazing, very helpful, very kind and very friendly. They always offer to help with anything. The room was clean, spacious and just as shown on the pictures. There is a huge courtyard that was outside my room, which added some privacy on the trip. I felt like I had my own space. I like that the rooms are on ground level but also the whole place is very quiet which was blissful. I was even given a plate of some sweets and a bowl of fruit, which was appreciated. My first morning while heading for breakfast, I noticed that the restaurant opens out on to the beach as well as the hotel being part of the souq! This was the absolute highlight! Everymorning I would go and put my feet in the water! The breakfast selection at the hotel is great! There is something for everyone! Big shout out to Chef Rosemary, she makes the best cheese omelet! Overall, an exceptional stay at Souq AL Wakra Hotel! I have recommended the hotel to friends and family! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and excellent hospitality from all the staff.

All was perfect. Only thing that didn't match our expectations was that we ran out of hot water so some of us had to shower with a not so warm water.
