How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Excellent location close to the metro and museums, very helpful and welcoming staff. As I was checking out early, they prepared an excellent packed breakfast for me. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Totally enjoyed the stay here.

Nice hotel in Doha. We just spent the night there, between our 2 flights. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good.

I thought for A Westerner the breakfast was very minimal and of a poor quality. I am not a lover of buffet meals and therefore What’s even more disappointed to find the food on the cool side when I do like hot food. But I am sure if enough people are honest to give their opinion you will be able to correct this easily.
Very clean And very well maintained. The staff couldn’t help you enough even if sometimes there was a slight language discrepancy.

The rooms are really nice and clean and fully renovated! The price is such steal because you certainly get more than what you are paying. The gym has also new machinery. Don’t judge the hotel by its small lobby, the rooms are nice and huge and walking distance to the Souq

Check in time was 2pm yet room was only ready at 7pm????? Bathroom is very small.

Air conditioning wasn’t working upon arrival but was soon fixed. Breakfast options were limited

Nothing Loved it ... the shower water sometimes came into the bathroom but not a lot and easily wiped up with a towel (I noticed this in other reviews but it wasn't a huge deal!)
The location is excellent It is so easy to walk to many cool places that are close by, and the metro is also close by! The breakfast was great, with lots of food choices I was so happy to have a super comfy bed!

No residents lounge and being a strict muslim country no alcoholic beverages available
Location was brilliant short walk to Metro so anywhere in Doha was in easy reach. Very helpful reception staffed 24/7 lovely breakfast staff all in all way above our expectations would strongly recommend.

Location was alright, could have been better. Initially, when checking in to the apartment, we wished it could of have been a bit earlier in regards to time however we understand that rooms had to cleaned.
The rooms were completely worth the stay as well as the amenities provided. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was decent. Felt safe and secure within the hotel.

The Gym facilitites were very basic, and presence of Steam / Sauna would have been better.
The Location is amazing, in the heart of the city, near to all the historic locations to visit. The Breakfast was awesome, with so many different types of food, local cuisine, and international continental things, must visit this hotel if you are traveling to qatar.

Coffee machine was broken in one morning and we could not get a good coffee. Limited options for coffee (only espresso and americano).
Hotel is located close to Souq and Corniche and it seems pretty new. We asked for a quite room and it was perfect. The room is big and everything was cleaned. The bed is big and comfy. Breakfast was good.
