“We booked a classic double room for one night, but upon arrival we were upgraded to a double panoramic room with a truly fantastic view of the garden and the valley of the temples. In fact, we were so impressed by the beautiful garden right next to the breakfast area that we decided to stay another night (luckily the same room was available at the regular price, which is worth what you get).
Very good breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious shower, small fridge, private parking - in short, everything you could need.
Thanks to the really nice and helpful staff!”
“This is a basic hotel which got the basics right, unlike some 4 star hotels we stayed at. There was good storage space with plenty of hangers and lots of drawers so we were able to store all our clothes and items without living out of our suitcase. Simple things like sockets at waist level so easy to access, large mirror in bedroom, superb central light so we could read, comfortable warm bed and a bonus, we could access an English speaking TV news channel. The receptionist gave us a detailed map of the town and also the Greek temple site, a printed bus timetable and lots of useful information. The hotel was very clean, and looked newly decorated. Our room was big and also very clean. Breakfast was a good cold buffet and staff were very friendly and helpful. It is also well situated, within easy walking distance of railway station and centre of town and also is just behind a beautiful tree lined boulevard overlooking the valley below. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and really enjoyed our stay here.”
“The location was excellent - we were able to walk to Valle del Templi (but note, it is a long downhill walk, and the return therefore is uphill). The room was large and had a sea view (although the sea is a long distance away). It was clean and well-appointed. We could open the windows with total privacy and no appreciable noise.”
“The room was quite cozy and clean. The cactus garden was amazing and there’s cats everywhere! Host was really nice and recommended us an amazing seafood/fish restaurant in town.”
“A stunning location with a breathtaking view of the ancient Acropolis makes this stay truly special. The garden is beautiful—lush, carefully maintained, and full of charm. The villa itself is gorgeous, well-kept, and full of character. Everything radiates peace, beauty, and authentic charm—an ideal place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended! The staff, unfortunately, felt rather stiff and uninspired, which didn’t quite match the warm and inviting atmosphere of the villa itself. Breakfast was very modest—not necessarily a problem, as it had an authentic touch—but by 9:30 most of the items were already gone, even though breakfast is served until 10. The food that was available was tasty, but overall, the value didn’t quite match the experience. A beautiful setting, but some improvements are needed to truly live up to its potential.”
