“Beautiful location on the Laguna. With the bridge into town gone it, feels like being out in the jungle and even walking along the road can provide interesting encounters with wildlife. Nice hammocks in the main esting area and a view our over the Laguna. Renting the canoe to go round the Laguna ($5pp) or getting a guided tour ($30) is well worth doing for the impressive range of wildlife you can see there including various monkeys, caimans, paiche, wild turkeys, many different birds and possibly snakes and turtles.”
