“We had an awesome stay at Maki - the room was very clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the location was brilliant. The stand out for us was the exceptional reception staff who went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. They helped us book tours, provided great recommendations and were very flexible and accommodating.
If you are paying at the property, you will need to pay by credit card or cash (debit card incurs a substantial fee), so we had to get out cash (pesos) and then convert it to USD at a local currency exchange kiosk. Was easy enough to do but was unexpected.
Would highly recommend Maki! We loved our time in Pucon.”
“Lovely cabin, stylishly decorated, well equipped. We had one by the lake with private black beach access. Unfortunately the cabins by the beach are close to the road which is super busy until late and from early morning. Besides that, comfortable beds and good WiFi.”
“The place is gorgeous surrounded by native forest and right next to the river. We went swimming every day in those beautiful emerald like waters, it was magical. But then my mother became unwell and Jean-Marie, Erica and Leo, looked after us like we were family, they were so caring and wonderful. Cabins are very pleasant and very clean.
Breakfast was fantastic, with home made jams, good bread, fresh orange juice and delicious eggs!”
“I've known this hotel for many years, have been there for breakfast and party but it was my first time staying. Eventhough it is called as a luxury hotel I think its not longer the case. We stayed in the 2nd floor the room was not as clean as you wouñd expect in a Luxury hotel. Balcony was dirty, bathroom was not properly clean ...even my son (teenager) noticed it.
The view is magnificent and breakfast very good as well.”
“The mold in the bathroom, the fact that the shower would switch between scorching hot and ice cold and the fact that the kitchen didn't have half of the standard products hostels tend to have such as oil salt peper or sufficient cutlery”
