“I'm a cyclist, usually travelling alone and I want this sort of thing. If you want just a room, no breakfast, no frills, La Perla is great. It's safe, everything was clean, the bathroom was fine, warm shower, the bath towel was really big, the room had air-con and overall it suits a basic budget.”

We knew the hotel was not going to be the top of the range and was on the outskirts of Albinia but having a restaurant in site was very appealing to us. We were very surprised though. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant where we ate lunch and dinner on both days we were there. AND…..we saw over a thousand flamingos in two different areas plus dozens of other birds we had not seen before.”
