    “Enjoyed a very pleasant stopover enroute to Portugal. Had plenty of room as had full use of downstairs lounge area with a TV too. Bedroom was very large. The host was lovely and also provided some small snacks on our arrival which was a lovely touch. She was very helpful and recommended a local restaurant to eat in. Local area was very nice to wander around and was very typically French. Accomodation was next to a convenience store which was very useful for stocking up on bits for our ongoing journey.”

    “Claire and her husband Jorg were super hosts. They helped us greatly by doing our washing as we had been travelling for a number of weeks. The house is really beautiful and we felt really comfortable there. I would encourage anyone to experience this beautiful stay in this magnificent home.”

    “Within 10 - 12 minutes walk of Hendaye station very convenient on our way through to Spain and Portugal an d back. Being able to check in and leave without disturbance was great. The help yourself breakfast had all we needed to get us going for the day. Owners are very pleasant and helpful.”

    “Convenient and beautiful location perfect for stopping on our way back from Spain. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts. As did our 2 dogs :-) Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk our dogs straight from the door, round lovely streets and semi rural tracks with views of the mountains. There was a communal area where we could make tea and coffee and there was a fridge and microwave. We were invited to eat our own food there if we wished. Our room was dark and quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. The hosts went to extra trouble to provide a vegan breakfast for us which we really appreciated.”
