  • Apartamento Be Good Review score: 4

“The apartment is located on a noisy road especially at rush hours. The type of building means traffic (or neighbours’) noises resonate and thankfully since we didn’t need all three rooms I was able to move to a room opening on the backyard. The apartment is rather nice and very clean. But it is poorly maintained: a cracked window with adhesive to cover the crack, a sink in the bathroom broken and grocery glued back together, a curtain bar fell on me as the plaster broke, the balcony window lock was missing… I left frustrated since I could have chosen another rental and it made my stay disappointing.”

“The basic Breakfast was very welcome in a spacious dining room. The daytime staff were always welcoming and there was a homely feeling about the place. They coped well with my very poor Spanish.”

  • “Great view of the city waterfront as it sits atop a hill. The main living room was very spacious and surrounded with glass windows. Nice to be on the second floor so we could take advantage of that view and not have to keep curtains drawn for privacy. The ground floor apartments would not have the view. Heated by wood stove, and wall heaters in the bedrooms that came on around 11:00. Woodstove was easy to light (discovered later that the wood had been dipped in a magical lighting fluid which i suspect was diesel). Very clean, check in was friendly and easy. Consistent water pressure and heat in the showers! There is a large dining space upstairs that you have full access to, so if you were so inclined you can bring your food/take-out to that space. Pool wasn't open because we were there later in the fall, but hottub was. About a 15 minute walk down the hill to the waterfront area. A small store 200M away at the street corner sells wine, beer, and baked goods -- super convienient.”

    “Good location”

“Everything was good except a non availability of electric kettle in a room . It is a necessity which hotel management must think of”

  • Galileo Boutique Hotel Review score: 10

“A beautiful property with lush green well established landscape overlooking the mountains, a wonderful place to have a good run for my best friend/dog leash free(supervised) ~ she loves all the staff!, good walking tracks nearby, relaxing for me to prepare a nice meal for us. A functional, well-equipped practical kitchenette where everything works (best I’ve used in Argentina!). The suite is tastefully furnished, zen. The observatory deck was a nice way to spend a Saturday evening stargazing, narration included😊so nice! And the hot tub is a plus for a quiet evening to chill after dinner with a glass of wine before bedtime - viva la Galileo Boutique Hotel! Also to note is the water was a little cloudy and brown after the 2days of continuous heavy rain, to be expected up in the mountains. It soon cleared up within the day(let the tap run a bit more, it helps), we had some bottled water to standby for consumption. Thank you Juan Carlos, Maxi, Veronica for a tremendous stay. This team’s hospitality far surpass my expectations!”

“Loved the vibe and the hostel staff were so friendly and helpful”

  • Hospedaje Penthouse 1004 Review score: 10

“It's not only the fantastic view but also the amazing staff! Mari and Jesus were adorable and everyone else was friendly and helpful, too! The bathrooms as well as the kitchen get cleaned daily and are very well taken care of. Kudos to the cleaning ladies and staff!! The mattress was causing me some back pain and when I asked to change the bed they offered to change the mattress instead which helped tremendously. I did sleep like a baby after that. I've stayed in a few hostels and can say that this has been the best experience for me. The staff works there for years and they like what they're doing and it shows. Keep it up and I hope to come back for a third time!”

  • “I have been to many hostels in my life, this has been by far the nicest and cleanest I've been to. It is super cozy with a huge yard where you can enjoy a tea on a bench under an apple tree. They even make your bed everyday which made me feel at home!”
