    “Daniel at reception was friendly and helpful at all times. I particularly appreciated the complimentary hot tea provided in the reception. It was very useful to be able to store your luggage on the day of departure, too.”

    “Pros: very cute lobby and some very nice rooms. Breakfast was good. Showers were hot. Room was clean. Staff very friendly even with a lot of trouble communicating. Gave us a full refund when we had to go to lower altitude due to sickness. Cons: When we first got there we were put in a beautiful room but we were told we must move rooms the next day. The next morning we were moved to a musty dungeon of a room off the lobby. This booking was made in October of 2024, (6 months prior) so we would assume it would have been first come first serve of nice rooms over drop ins. No shelf in the bathroom or shower, so had to put our soap on the ground. The rooms were freezing even with a heater. Beds weren't too bad but our one pillow was horrible. I got severe altitude sickness and the poor girl working tried to hook up the oxygen tank but it was empty. They did offer to go pick up an oxy-shot at the store for me. She also said she called the doctor but no doctor ever came. We ended up having to leave. We traveled all over Peru and are not too picky and I was very excited to stay here because the reviews were so good. Started off good and ended disappointing.”

    “Last minute stay because we returned from Cusco back to Ollantaytambo due to altitude sickness. and wish we had stayed here for our entire trip to Ollantaytambo earlier. We stayed in many places all over Peru and this was the best place we stayed in. Hot showers, very comfortable beds, lots of pillows, heated, and beautiful. The owner treated us like family. Breakfast was ready at a table for us in the morning as soon as we came downstairs. Tea available whenever you like. After freezing in some places and suffering from uncomfortable beds, we wish we had known about this place all along. We didn't want to leave. We wish them the best in their business in the future 💛”
