“Hanoi OQ standard, but the staff was extremely nice and helpful. This was perfect and we appreciate that.”

  • “strange, location was not on google maps because of the bad reviews i had forgotten about. I just wanted to get out of old town. no check in or anything old video to the location, no signs whatsoever and than getting mad about the fact you didn’t put the money in the red-note book. it was more so a garage stay, not a homestay. It was dusty and it felt it wasn’t cleaned proper in ages, not even swept with a broom. for the price it was crazy. btw unsolicited advice is not appreciated and a no go if you work with guess unless they specifically ask.”

  • “The staff is very kind and helpful.”

  • “I liked the host who was kind and resolved my issues successfully and put me in another apartment quickly. My new apartment was great, had kitchen, good bed, AC and location is also good. Even though located outside the Old Quarter, it is still accessible and in the very heart of the city (10 minutes walk to Train Street)”

  • “Booked the basic double room, we were offered a free ‘upgrade’ so accepted it. We were put in a stuffy room with no windows and the bed was rock hard. We asked if we could have the original room we booked but it was full. The receptionist was really nice and tried to compromise with us but we were so tired and wanted a decent sleep so had to check out and go somewhere else. Location and price was good.”

  • “Located in the heart of Hanoi, very close to Hoan Kiem Lake, the homestay offers you great comfort stay and very peaceful experience. The host is a charming gentleman who provides useful hints and advices about Hanoi citycentre.”

  • “A good place if you want a basic and cheap room for the night. However I would say that the pictures make the accommodation look a lot better than it actually is. The room we stayed in needed some TLC, nothing major but a lot of little bits making it look neglected and tired compared to the pictures. It was labelled as a deluxe double room however there seemed nothing deluxe about it. The coffee shop itself seems nice and serves good coffee however the accommodation is very much different. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t great either as the wooden floor boards were filthy and made you keep your shoes on whilst on the floor. On the pictures it showed a window which was opened up but in reality it was closed up by wallpaper making it feel a bit like a prison. The air con didn’t work, the shower head holder had snapped off so you had to hold it yourself. Limited towels, only bath towels and no hand towels. Kettle provided but no mugs, tea, or even bottled water. There was a lovely outdoor seating area upstairs, but no way of closing the loft hatch fully, so we had insects flying around the room and no mosquito net/way of avoiding it.”

“If you want to experience a vietnamese village it’s the perfect place to be. It’s only 40 km from Hanoi and not very far from Duong Lam ancient village. The dinner was a very tasty vegetarian one cooked by the youngs takkng care of the property. It was extra. In exchange they should take more care about the breakfast that was included. The way that they are serving it and prepear it. But they were very kind and helpful despite the fact that they were not very handy with the English. The google translate made the job smooth😅”
