“Staying here for 2 nights with my husband and daughter for a short leisure in a triple room. It's a good place to stay for those who need peaceful vibes. It has a great pool in the middle of the area.
The staff was very helpful. Mas Arie (The owner) was a very nice person.
The location was quite good, it's easy to find local food along the street near to the HomeStay.
Over all is a good experience to stay here.
I only got one suggestion about the pressure of the water in the bathroom, it needs to be increased a bit😊”
“The room and the mattress were fine, the air conditioning was noisy so you didn't risk forgetting it on during the night and getting sick, but the services were non-existent. In the true sense of the word.
If you want to take a dip in the past and relive the times when you washed yourself with a bucket of water from a tub, fine, but you have to know it in advance and choose it.
In the bathroom there were no sink or shower. Only a squat toilet without a flush and a small well that fills with water with difficulty from a tap that doesn't always come out.
You use a plastic bucket with a handle to rinse the squat toilet and also to wash yourself.”
“Best place we have stayed in Java. Super friendly and helpful staff, the place is absolutely spotless, and the room is comfortable. Nice communal space. Compared to other places of a similar price which we have stayed at it really stood out, was well worth the short taxi ride from the centre.”
“The owner Julie and her family are truly lovely people who provided such a warm welcome to their beautiful home. The property and garden are so colourful and vibrant. Local Indonesian breakfast were provided which were all excellent and catered for our very early schedules. We were even given a pack up on the day we left. Julie helped organise a tour to the temples.”
“The staff were amazing! L’idiota and her husband helped us with everything and really went above and beyond and it felt really like we were more just guests. The breakfast was phenomenal. Stay here if you can and don’t forget to confirm. Just to note the light to the bathroom is outside the room”
“Firstly, even though we arrived at 4pm and had prepaid, the room was not ready. The main restaurant was closed during our stay. There was an outside eating area which served a limited menu, however about half the items on the menu were unavailable - including, can you believe it, coffee. On our last night we went to order dinner at 7.45pm only to be told that the kitchen was closed. When we asked if there was anywhere we could eat nearby, we we told no. The falsely smiling staff were completely useless. The bathroom smelled from the drainage and we were told toilet tissue was out of stock. I'm puzzled why this place has had such good reviews in the past, we certainly wouldn't stay there again.”
