  • Albergue O Durmiñento Review score: 10

“A climb to the hostel. Out the door and turn left and you are on the Camino route. Lovely homely feel to the accommodation.”

  • “Location, views, facilities and mostly the members of staff friendliness and flexibility”

  • Casa Tania Review score: 5

“OK but felt a little isolated. I was traveling alone and Noone else stayed here. There was no reception so I was completely alone and the front door had no key to lock it. The bed was very comfortable and the decor refreshing though.”

  • “I think the camp is very good, whether it is facilities or services. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and introduced me a lot. She also interacted with me. Because I had to get up very early to walk the Camino, I couldn't catch up with breakfast. Someone delivered breakfast in the evening. It was very delicious and very humane. And the environment here is very good, very quiet and safe. You can see the stars at night, and you can sit in the cradle and outdoor chairs and stare at nature during the day. There is a restaurant opposite the camp, which is also very delicious. It is really the place I don't want to miss the most in the entire Camino.”

  • Casa Camino Turismo Rural Review score: 10

“We loved everything about this place, from the beautifully renovated historic building, stunning countryside location and the warm, welcoming hosts to the attention to every detail, comfortable room, pretty, peaceful courtyard, delicious dinner (with vegetarian options) and friendly dog. A perfect 20th anniversary before a peaceful walk on the Camino Primitivo through gorgeous countryside and joins back up with the Frances route.”

  • Pension-Albergue Don Alvaro Review score: 8

“Very good place to stay if on the Camino. Along the Camino, quiet, near to shops..cafés very near.”

  • HOSTEL PORTON Review score: 9

“The host was very quick and kind to respond to my queries.”

  • Alda Palas de Rei Review score: 9

“A perfectly adequate hotel. Lots of hot water. The hotel is minutes away from a bar that serves good Pizza. The hotel is 'tired' and dated being a wooden cabin type design but we knew that when we booked. It appears that there is a new build on the same site that will shortly be available. The check in was strange, it is not signposted and was taking place in a bedroom where a member of staff had a laptop but this process was efficient. The room was large and the décor was old including the bathroom that really will need updating shortly.”
