  • “I think the camp is very good, whether it is facilities or services. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and introduced me a lot. She also interacted with me. Because I had to get up very early to walk the Camino, I couldn't catch up with breakfast. Someone delivered breakfast in the evening. It was very delicious and very humane. And the environment here is very good, very quiet and safe. You can see the stars at night, and you can sit in the cradle and outdoor chairs and stare at nature during the day. There is a restaurant opposite the camp, which is also very delicious. It is really the place I don't want to miss the most in the entire Camino.”

  • Casa Camino Turismo Rural Review score: 10

“We loved everything about this place, from the beautifully renovated historic building, stunning countryside location and the warm, welcoming hosts to the attention to every detail, comfortable room, pretty, peaceful courtyard, delicious dinner (with vegetarian options) and friendly dog. A perfect 20th anniversary before a peaceful walk on the Camino Primitivo through gorgeous countryside and joins back up with the Frances route.”

  • “Even though I had a confirmed reservation, they didn't accommodate me. They told me they were still closed and sent me away. They ignored the fact that I had a reservation, they wouldn't talk to me. Nobody communicated with me ahead of time. I guess they didn't want to open when they didn't have more guests... I ended up having to pay for more expensive accommodation at a nearby guesthouse.”

  • La Casona de Sarria Review score: 10

“Beautiful place by the river, friendly and efficient staff, free wine on arrival and unlimited access to tea and coffee. Lovely communal area and garden. Rooms stylishly decorated, comfortable beds with extra blankets. Location perfect - opposite the start of the Camino and a short walk from train station and beautiful old town! Highly recommend!”
