Room aircon not functioning - this was sorted quickly by the male receptionist. Bathroom cramped with inadequate protection/drainage for shower water. Hourly and daily parking charges advertised at reception, which were significantly more expensive than in the centre of town - on the third day of our trip, we were told we wouldn't be charged after all.

Well-positioned for walking into the historic centre and opposite a pleasant park. Good breakfast selection. Wonderful view of the mountains.

The hotel is new, modern and very nice decorated. Rich and varied breakfast, clean rooms and large towels. The staff is young, nice and kindly.

The swimming pool water was green and not well maintained. It smelled really bad and had no lights, so it was very dark inside. I was really disappointed with the pool because I have chosed this hotel based on the good reviews.

The breakfast was delicious, the room was small but clean and comfy. It had air conditioning and I've liked the colours and design.

Very thin walls. You can hear everything from your neighbors next door. No elevator from the ground floor to the first floor at ibis. I stayed two times at the hotel and each time the alarm started ringing. You have to leave the room until it gets stopped, because the harsh sound is also inside the rooms.

I liked the comfy bed, the painting on the wall and the breakfast. Close to the park.

There is no free parking for guests, but you can use public parking in front of the building. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the center, not so close to the center. A bit smelly in the bathroom, but they will fix it ;)

Very nice place. Everything is new and fresh. Looks like it is an extension of another hotel - Merkur, so they have the same reception and restaurant. The room is very nice with very nice color combination. Breakfast was incredible. Netflix and great TV. Welcome and personalized present in the room.

Was hard to find that this hotel is connected with the Mercure one, same reception, pool, restaurant, everything except rooms. Perhaps a message sent before arriving explaining the access to the parking lot and other useful information is not hard to send prior to arrival. Maybe a place for children to spend time playing as I noticed lots of families with children. Didn’t like the unfinished details, you would expect after a few months of opening these things to be resolved. Personally I don’t like the metalic structure of the floors, but it is what it is. The rooms lacked bathrobes, slippers, blankets, remote controllers, etc, we had to ask for them every time we needed something that you think you would find at a basic hotel. The temperatures drop at night, probably in all the rooms as the heating is stopped. Some way of blocking the light from roof windows/rooflights would help, especially when there are fool moons 😅. Lack of garbage cans, paper napkins in the restaurant bathrooms or lobby is a little annoying. The pool looks unappealing and unattended, the water smell and color is not pleasant at all, clearly the PH is too high. All in all the complex (both hotels) are above average for what you can find in Sibiu, maybe the management will sort things out.

New hotel and it was about time for Sibiu to have a new one. 🙂 The lobby is nice, looks like the standard Accor. Plenty of parking places, 4 electric slots if you bring your own charger. The staff is polite and helpful most of the time. The breakfast is nice and replenished often.

It was unacceptable the fact the fire alarm was triggered twice in the same night without any member of the staff there to explain what is happening. The breakfast was good but the food from the restaurant was a bit dry.

Unfortunately there were many points, more than the things i liked Location - have to mention is next to a construction site. No more sleep after 7:45am Rooms - although new, they weren’t clean properly, you can still see isolation foam in corners - the window of room 006 doesn’t even close properly Cleaning - i left 2 times the : “please clean my room” sign on the door and that did not happen Breakfast - not too bad - the staff is rude and, from a business point of view when you combine the breakfast of the3 star hotel with the 4 star hotel and your staff doesn’t have a uniform…one of them was wearing a grey hoody other a pink sweater, that just looms bad on the business Staff reception - you have to check in/out at mercur hotel…and trust me they will judge you based on where you stay. Very unprofessional I think the staff is the biggest problem there, Very unwelcoming, rude not at all professional. When i checked out there was another person infront of me. The things the people at the reception were saying about their guest while checking me out was the unimaginable

The location is amazing! Close to a park and walking distance to the center. The hotel itself it’s new and the rooms are cozy with a cute design

No barrier in the bathroom with bad drainage, so the floor was wet after using shower, windows in the room cannot be opened fully, and no hangers in the (open) closet. Also, the bed was too mild, so i did not sleep well.

Excellent breakfast, big room, parking in front of the hotel, the pool (but you need to pay for it additionally, what I did not like)

There is no room service, restaurant closes at 9, you have to pay for parking, check-out took a long time.

The hotel was not aware of our booking! we took contact with Booking but never got an answer. Apparently problems were solved. No housekeeping unless asking the kitchenstaff for towels. 2x fire alarm with no personnel aware of the situation. Guests continue having breakfast. Last morning no warm water

Breakfast and pool were shared with the Mercure hotel and were good
