A gorgeous boutique for a quick stop over. Didn’t seek to be in the best area, but for a one night stay, definitely recommend. I gave an 8 people the shower kept flooding the floor. Otherwise, comfy, nicely decorated. We would return.

The place is not fit for people with walking difficulties, as there are steps all over. In particular the steps going to the second and third floor are steep with a think carpet on it, and steps are different in width.

Beautiful antique all over and a very spacious room. The reception personnel was very friendly and willing to help or give advice at all times.

Very beautiful boutique hotel. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The location is very good - walking distabce to the old town and close to public transport. Next door is a supermarket. Very clean and spacy rooms.

Beautiful ambiance, great furniture, lovely breakfastroom with nice and complete breakfast. Cosy housebar, large bathroom. Central location, lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Close to Atheneu Roman, Museum of Arts, etc.

Getting into the hotel needs attention, have to ring a bell to be answered for the electric gates to open. All good if there is someone on reception to answer!! Tea making facilities in the room would be nice.

The hotel is traditional and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and on duty 24/7 at the reception desk. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The hotel is in a very convenient area right in the city centre with easy access to the Old Town and close to local transport links (including the bus to and from the Airport, which was convenient. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Bucharest

Beautiful historical building in the city centre, fascinating rooms, even if a bit too exuberant to my taste:) Anyway, the most important thing was that, even if we booked on the same day, the personnel was mostly very helpful, allowed us to use the all-important parking space for a bit more, and overall, made us feel welcome. The breakfast was magnificent too:)

The toilets smelled. Not all the time and if you shut the lid it is enough to contain the odour but it is not an issue I am expecting when I am staying at a hotel.

The hotel was really nice and well located. I really enjoyed my room. It was spacious and well decorated. Bed was comfy and large. Staff is helpful and professional. I would go back to this hotel with no hesitation.

Been there before with my wife, for business, and we had a wonderful experience. Fundamentally I hate super modern hitels that have no soul and character. That's why we chose Scala Boutique Hotel. A bit like the good French prestige "Relay et Chateaux" or the English "Historic House Hotels". Following that, I explicitly wanted to stay again in this hotel. Had even a pleasant surprise when I arrived as I was upgraded at no extra cost. Definitely has become my choice of stay whenever I will come again to Bucharest
