A beautiful classic hotel with spacious rooms and very beautiful furniture. The personnel is very kind, and helpful and provides plenty of info about Bucharest and Romania. The breakfast is amazing and tasteful. It is in a quiet (non-noisy) area with plenty of shops around.

At one time I waited too long until the gate opened. I was told this was because the gate wasn't visible from the reception.

I liked the spacious room with balcony, the breakfast buffet and the central location close to everything.

Like many older hotels, too many stairs and no elevator.

Staff went out of their way to help us at departure. Really very helpful and took a lot of time finding us a ride to the cruise port on the Danube river.

This is an old building over three floors - our room was on the top floor. That was not a problem for us but, as there are only stairs and no lift/elevator, if you have mobility problems it would be best to ask at the hotel before booking.

The room was large and beautifully furnished. Easychair seating, plenty of storage and clean white linen on a very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean bathroom with great shower. Reasonable choices for a good breakfast in a pleasant dining room. Location wise, about 100m to main routes and about 15 minutes walk into the old town (we tended to walk every where). Friendly and helpful staff.

Slight language barrier and understanding. Had to ask about the area and what was recommended and places to eat. Check in felt rushed for no reason it seemed.

The hotel was very elegant and classic. Never been to such a unique place that was very well taken care of. The breakfast was exceptional and it was the perfect place to celebrate my wife and I’s anniversary weekend. Highly recommend!

This is a classical building with classical rooms. Room service, drinks, and restaurant all on the property. Very secure. Staff was very helpful. The location is excellent and is within walking distance of Old City. Plenty of shops around. Beds were very comfortable.

The main gate to the hotel is only opened remotely from the check-in desk.

Excellent value for the money. The hotel is situated in a historic building in the centre of the city, within walking distance from many of the main tourist attractions. Within walking distance to the Old Town. Also situated minutes away from two metro stations. The room was spacious and furnished following the style and historical context of the building. Air conditioning is also provided in the room. The room came with a balcony. Breakfast can be provided. The check-in desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

I was requested to move the hotel to differ location on 11pm. It was sudden notice but they compensated a lot. Therefore it was ok for me in the end.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff were very attentive. Mostly I loved the styling of the hotel, which is what swayed my decision to stay here. The location was good. It cost very little to get about to the various places we needed to visit using taxis.
