First thing was that there is no heating in the room but they provided some radiators which were OK, but not the best. Not all lamps have light bulbs, the shower is a bit leaking, the rooms are not renovated, so all in one it's not a new hotel.

It's in the city center so it is close to everything. Parking is free behind the hotel and it is not too crowded, many rooms are empty. Staff is OK, but not the nicest I met in my life.

It depends on what your expectations look like. I was warned before about the inconveniences, so I felt OK, during my stay. You are really in the focal point of Focșani, everything is at 10-15 minutes from the hotel (business, institutions, shops etc.). It's clear that they are not able to manage all the rooms, all the space. I don't understand why they don't split the business in accommodation and rental offices. They made some investments in the room comfort - AC, bathrooms, TV, WiFI, fridge, insolated windows. However, they need to move forward to a truly 2* hotel. They should also change the furniture and the ambiance of the hotel's lobby entrance. It's the kind of dark colors that really reminds me about the Communist period. In combination with the hotel's architecture it's spooky.

This hotel is the same it was during CEAUSESCU, the employees are acting the same, when I told the receptionist that I had a room booked thru booking she was like "what? this f....g booking... I will make the rooms unavailable" obviosly it's since 1990 they used a notebook for reservations.....she never gave me a prof that I paid for the room... NO PARKING at all, no info that the street is under construction and with no possibility to get to the hotel....

Kinda old and renovation is needed, I think in the good time people were able to smoke inside and a specific smell impregnate. Beds were noisy and we had a small baby that waked up when we wanted to change our sleep positions.

I paid extra for a room with A/C, however I didn’t get that. Asking the receptionist about, despite all my efforts to translate from english to romanian language using Google translate, the only answer I got was that the A/C doesn’t work. The issue wasn’t a broken A/C, the issue was lack of A/C….the A/C system wasn’t even installed in that room…. Didn’t take long to be called “crazy and invited to go to hell” by the receptionist for demanding having the room that I paid for… At the end, I choose to get a refund and look for another hotel to stay…..

I have never seen a worse hotel. There is no air conditioning, it's hot in the room, there are a lot of comoros, there is noise on the street etc
