Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bulgariaall was good except the whole night music from the disco next to the hotel. on Thursday was good as it was silent but Friday and Saturday was a nightmares as they were singing songs from 11pm till 5-6 am and the feeling was that the band is in our room. take in mind this if you are going to stay for a weekend and you are not going to join the party 🙃
the room was good, all necessary was inside, but the bed was titled. the feeling from one side of the bed was that we are about to fall down. on the other hand the restaurant was good, food was delicious and staff was friendly, polite and helpful and everywhere was clean.

SwedenThe rooms are supposed to be non-smoking but smoking is allowed in the restaurant (and there is even a sign saying smoking is allowed by the Serbian Ministry of health. You don't see that very often. I wasn't sure if it's irony or for real, but people were definitely smoking indoors for real) That smoke probably found its way to the rooms, however I really don't know if there is a good option to avoid smoke indoors in Belgrade. Also it's a party-town, I stayed six nights and I think 4 out of 6 nights there was loud music until 4-6 in the morning, so bring good ear plugs in case you're not going to be outside partying. Despite these drawbacks, I am really glad I stayed here, because I don't think there was a better option in Belgrade for me.
Location: The Donau is one of the nicer things about Belgrade, so it's worth staying on it and feeding swans at sunrise :) I thought I wouldn't like New Belgrade as much as the old town (if you can call it that) since usually the old town is the more picturesque part of any city, however in the case of Belgrade I personally liked the New Belgrade, this historic socialist part more, since it's calmer, big parks, wide streets, interesting socialist architecture etc, compared to the center, old town which is quite messy. The bus to the center is closeby and it runs all the time. You can easily pay by tapping a mastercard if you have one. Style and Decoration: The hotel is beautifully decorated, old-time, cozy vibe, nice views, clean and comfortable (if you could somehow disregard the smoke). Staff and food: Nice staff and good food.

BulgariaThe only thing we didn’t like was the fact that during our staying was raining and the parking was far away.

AustraliaOnly comment would be that the room was extremely hot when I arrived therefore the air on could have been perhaps switched on briefly in preparation for a guest arrival.
Fantastic location looking over the river, incredibly clean and wonderful room. Everything was immaculate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend.

United Arab EmiratesNothing. I like it all. I will make a vlog about the property soon in my youtube channel, Christian Lou Vlogs.
I love the location, although it is not in the city center but it’s ok. I opted for something different this time other that city hotels or hostel. Im not a morning person but the view made me wake up at 4:30am just to see the sunrise along the river with all the swans & birds. The hotel itself is Belgrade’s tourist site. Shout out to the staffs who are very warm & friendly.

SwitzerlandI have nothing to complain about really, just did not appreciate the smell dispenser in the room and could not turn it off! :)
I loved the location of the place, a great alternative to a large city hotel. It had all the necessary things, a nice restaurant on the river downstairs, and the feel of a small cozy stay.

A very good hotel on the water, a beautiful view on the Danube, super service: meeting, accommodation, assistance in all questions, a delicious breakfast. A few days before our arrival we were warned that there would be a celebration in the hotel, but in the room was quiet, good soundproofing, nothing bothered us. Good equipment of the room: towels, bathrobes, slippers, they put a baby bed for us: they made it too. After check-out, we were able to leave bags, take a walk during the day and return, we had lunch in a restaurant, very tasty. Pleasant experience, thank you!

United KingdomSauna controls allows you to set it to 110 degrees but the sauna is built with holes around door and glass panels so the heat escapes into the room and the sauna does not get hotter than 58 degrees. We had it on for 6 hours!. When we raised this issue with the staff (there were only waiters by the way) they said that it never goes higher than 60 degrees. So the sauna is useless and you end up with room temperature over 30 degrees. When you try cooling the room down you can set the aircon control panel down to 0 degrees. But the aircon only blows hot room air back into the room because the aircon is missing the outside unit. After some time you realise that the room temperature is now 31 degrees in April. You then try opening windows. But there is a large chimney located right outside your windows which is extremely loud. we have a video but it canot be attached to the review. If you want to sleep, you cannot have windows open. When you close the windows you still hear the chimney noise which goes on the whole night and day!! The jacuzzi is in the room, but again the water does not get heated enough for you to enjoy it. Then the bathroom. The whole bathroom is basically a walking shower. we have a video. First, it does not have any hooks to hang towels or clothes. Secondly, when you shower, the water does not completely flow away and there are paddles all over bathroom floor. So next time you want to go to toilet or sink you cannot go in your socks. You either put your shoes on, which is counterproductive because you end up with dirty water on the floor, or barefoot. The most embarrassing point is that there is no one to tell. There are only waiters in the restaurant, no receptionist
location, Bahus Inn is situated on Danube, it’s a floating restaurant with several rooms upstairs. Location is very nice. We stayed in room no: 3 with sauna and jacuzzi. But that’s where the good news ends.

United KingdomNoise. There is no soundproofing whatsoever. Luckily, the wedding party that jigged away till 1am - on a Sunday - on my first night was a one-off, but not a rarity judging by other reviews. However, there is no excuse for cranking up the music system early every morning when the day begins, loud conversations between staff, banging about and making noise. It seems that they do not care that the guests may want to sleep - especially if they'd been kept up all night. It's such a shame. There is no room cleaning. No fresh towels. No bed changing. The door to the balcony was nearly impossible to close. Lots of wasps seemed to infest the outside area. Another issue is that there is no dedicated reception, so you have to get the attention of waiters, whilst they do a good job, are busy enough serving food etc. It all stacks up to the feeling that you are not valued as a guest.
This is a tough one, because Bahus could be one of the best places I've ever stayed in. Massive room, interesting features, enormous bath, sunny varadah with great views of the river. Great restaurant, cool area all round. In many regards, I absolutely loved it. However...
