How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

although the location was good, yet the entrance was in the wrong direction, to have a walk I have to take long path to reach the street the front door was close
the location was very good, it made my the trip convenient and relaxing, staff were very supportive and made their best to help they were professional

Jeddah Economic City will be complete one day and turn this location into something great. However, as of today, this is not the best place to stay in the city, specially when you consider that Jeddah has no subway and you will need an Uber for everything.
Everything is brand new. Super clean, great staff – specially in the restaurant, they are incredibily nice – and the whole building seems like it was built yesterday. I also asked at what time the check-out was and they decided to let me stay until whenever I wanted without additional cost. Great hospitality. The bed was also the best in which I ever slept.

The room not as the usual. The water heater was not clean and cant be used. The AC was not cooling and the room was always dray. Car parking is an issue if the hotel is full.
The staff as usual friendly and perfect service.

1- I had the pleasure of hearing my neighbor speaking Spanish :) 2- I decided to check out early due to ongoing Wi-Fi and network issues (STC) throughout the hotel. 3- The business area, located between the reception and dining/cafe areas, was too noisy. I do not recommend this hotel for work purposes. Aside from these issues, everything else was good.
The hotel is tidy and well-maintained in terms of cleanliness.

There is construction next to them (not their fault) but I wouldn’t recommend staying there for light sleepers.

Room placement floor was below expectation, as I should see a full view of the sea in front of me, However, half of the view was a building beside us. TV system need some improvement and linear in switching between sources of HDMI channels

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times and will be staying a lot for work (at least twice a month). The room this time was on the 17th floor. The furniture had spots. There were boarding passes from the previous guest still in the night stand. The pain was chipping. Not the best room I have stayed in at this hotel. I was upgraded in my last stay so I decided not to escalate my comments. Thank you.

I told the staff that it was my wedding night… I was told that an extra charge was to be paid for a special set up… as staying here for the first time and gain loyalty I would have expected that to be free of charge… I am traveling to the Maldives for honey moon I was offered free honey moon setup and a free dinner just for choosing them for my honey at no extra cost… I know I’m asking for extra but how will u distinguish ur self as a better hotel than others…!??
The king suite was amazing… the balcony view is unbeatable…
