How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

hotel is full of Old carpet. foul smell from reception to room, corridor. Only one lift. Bathroom fittings are 30/40 year old, rested. Doors are dirty and broken wooden doors. no proper lighting and switches ugly shit. Air condition unit was leaking. water dropped like rain in the room. Even though I reported on 4 days no maintanance people attended or they changed the room. ........
The Worst breakfast I ever had in my life for 4 days. Since I paid for 4 days while check IN. there was no way to cancel and go other hotel. Booking.com should remove this hotel from your listing. its is very dirty, rubbish hotel on the heart of Riyadh. Breakfast even not value SAR 10. Everything from the reception, staff, room changes (3 times), unclean place, some elements that are out of this world. If you are the type of person who is afraid of horror films, please do not dare go to this place.

The price is different from the post. They have a lot of add ons. Also breakfast is so limited. My fruends went down around 1030am and no more food.

Poor service. I booked 4 rooms in this hotel for my family and another family friend.. (2 rooms each family) they have asked a deposit of SAR100 but didn’t returned to us when checking out. They told us that they have given the deposit to our friend when they checked out. Our friend checked out 1 hour earlier than us. But because we are in a hurry and we trusted the staff of this hotel, we left without asking our friend only to find out that our friend didn’t collected the money because the booking was not under their name. Another issue is their breakfast.. they know that they still have guest that haven’t ate breakfast because they have records, but when we came to eat, trays are empty and when ask if they will serve more food, they said yes but took so long and we end up leaving just only eating what’s in the trays on that time.

Looks like staff have been trained not to smile at customers! very unfriendly. Wifi is good but unsecure and hence most sites did not work. Breakfast was good but very limited vegetarian options.

Hotel is not updated, they are charging more but giving 0. Many times we call at reception they didnt answer, we request for iron and they refused. It was not clean. Even shower handle were broken.

WiFi didn't work, so my business was a big problem, the room was very small with out window and very dark. Specially big thanks for reception staff. The room was not this, which looked Furniture was very old .

Room not kept cleanly @ its time we need to tell them to do it so, In breakfast mostly they keep breads which is made of Maida not good for health Your icici bank visa / American express cards are not accepted here, which is major concern here, i asked for alternate payment method which they did not bother to look into it. Where they same card i used in lulu,panda& starbuck & even in any given atm it is working ,there site says they will accept all visa,master card, American express but this the reality for which is have to stay back in there reception area for four hours
