We stayed at Emmas guesthouse for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. A big thanks to Veronique and Vanessa 🫶 both were always helpful and the communication was fast. The cleanliness was very good and the equipment is absolutely complete, you have everything you need :)

Travellers need to know that the property sits adjacent to the hosts main residence, which itself fronts onto the pool. Whilst the owner is discrete and doesn't intrude, travellers need to know use of the pool, neither private nor exclusive. This did not bother me in the slightest, but it might bother someone who values privacy. A car hire is a must, as this property is quite a distance from any bus stop

Emma's Guesthouse was phenomenal. The facilities were excellent and the host and staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. A short drive from the main road, Emma's Guest House is the perfect location to be close to restaurants and also have access to the rest of the island from a central area. The pool was a real gem for our little one, even if the weather isn't great you can go for a swim and keep entertained. I'll definitely be staying here again when returning to Mahe.

We had a beautiful time at Emma's guest house. The handover of the keys was very ease, although we arrived too late. The suff and the owner was very politely and welcomed us with some food and even own coconuts from the owners garden. Inside the property is an extra parking lot for the guests. We enjoyed the pool, which is even exclusively for the guests. The kitchen was very good equipped.

Nice facilities with plenty space for a family of four. Beautiful garden with nice swimming pool which was perfect for before or after having a trip to a beach. It was necessary a car but the stuff was very helpful to organise a car and trips around.

Just a superb holiday home. Veronique and Vanessa are fantastic hosts, helpful, friendly, welcoming, providing exceptional service. Far better than any 5 star resort. Holiday home is very well stocked, exceptionally clean. Welcome goodies provided for cooking and items for breakfast provided were a nice touch. Swimming pool great for soaking with nice view to the ocean. Beautifully maintained property with fruit trees. Secure gate property for parking the car. Bit difficult to find the house initially but great location minutes from the main east coast road, very handy for exploring both the west and east coast of the island. Julie's takeaway a few minutes away is fantastic for buying dinner or lunch with big portions of excellent creole food. Seychelles is a wonderful culture destination that can be made affordable by staying in the exceptional local guesthouses, eating local foods at the takeaways and shopping for local fruits, veggies, fish at the market stands around the islands. Service provided at Emma's is the best one will encounter anywhere in the world. Several days are needed to see all the many sights on Mahe.

We enjoyed our stay so much, the hosts made us feel so welcomed and at home, that the only sad thing was us leaving there. Absolutely a place we would revisit the next time in Mahé.

Emma's guest house is perfectly located in the south part of mahé and makes a perfect stay for both experiencing the whole island from the southto the north, and everything in between, or if you're just looking to get some r & r! The guesthouse has everything you need to get in a vacay-mode, yet still feel like you're at home. The beach, grocery stops and restaurants are just a short walk away. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed waking up to a see the beautifully garnished and sunny garden with the intimate and delicate pool to start of our days. Let's not forget the delicate swimmingpool! it was absolutely amazing to just step out and enjoy a morningbath. Our host, Veronique and her partner Vanessa, were incredibly welcoming, sweet and helpful. At the the day of our arrival, and throughout our stay, they made continously sure that we had everything and offered their assistance whenever needed. We were also welcomed with local lemonade, local delicacies and groceries just to get started off. We even got to try some of the fruits and herbs growing in the garden, which was super cool! The whole guesthouse is modern, including a brand new washing machine, TV, wifi, AC and a kitchen that had literally everything we needed.

Emma's guest house is a real gem. The apartment was super clean,modern and sunny. We enjoyed eatimg outside in the small balcony looking at the garden. Kitchen was well-equipped and practical, we were greeted with local delicacies when we checked in.Our host Veronique was super-nice and friendly. She made us feel at home and offered her help proactively.

Nothing. It suited our needs very well and as seasoned travellers who have lived and worked in many countries and have been to the Seychelles before, we know what we expect. Emma's Guest House made us feel very confortable.

We were extremly honoured to have been the first guests to stay at Emma`s Guest House and to write the first review for Booking.com.We were made most welcome from the moment of our arrival by the owner, Veronique and her assistant, Vanessa.The home, which is a good sized and private house next to the owners property, is fully equipped with small details thought of to make one's stay most confortable. The kitchen, for example, provided us with many of the items one would expect in a self catering facility to extra items as rice cooker, blender, electric coffee machine and kettle. There is also parking for your rental car inside a securely locked space. On arrival, we were shown our welcome package of foods which included all basic necessary, including local chutneys and fresh fruits and vegetables, and a welcome drink of coconut juice from one of their trees. When we had questions or needed anything at all, they were attended to nearly immediately. A great plus was the salt water pool which was for our use and the small family used it only when we were not there. We were never inconvenienced nor our privacy invaded. In the morning, sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea or watching the wildlife we just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves before a day out, and maybe we received a few words of advice for our excursions if we asked.
