How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Tina and Edwin are the perfect hosts, what wonderful and friendly people! We had a fantastic stay at their lodge. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The host made me feel at home from the moment I was fetched at the airport to the moment the shuttle fetched me from the accommodation.

Edwin and Tina are wonderful hosts! We stayed at Runway Lodge in transit on our way to Praslin. The accommodation is very close to the airport and Edwin handled our transfer to and from the airport at a bargain rate. Both hosts were delightful and kind. Definitely recommend the Runway Lodge.

Amazing stay - we loved it! A perfect place to relax before the flight, with a pool with jacuzzi, and great coffee. Everything was perfectly clean, the staff was very friendly, and there’s an affordable restaurant nearby with the option of food delivery before 6 PM

For my needs for an overnight stay it was perfect
Everything near airport and host picks you up. My garden room was perfect. Quiet fantastic bed frig. High end coffee maker great shower. Tina was so helpful and cooked a beautiful breakfast for me

the only thing that I've disliked is that there is no possibility to eat, If you want to eat something you have to go to the airport, that day it was rainiing and so I could not eat during the whole day and if you want to drink a coffee or water is not free. I think that after paying 200 euros for staying there (only daytime) at least cofee or water should be offered for free.
It is the nearest place to airport if you have a late fligth. The owner was very friendly and helpful, but the lady who was there at our arrival, did not help me a lot. THere is a nice swimingpool and the bedrooms are clean and confortable. The owner took me to the airport for free and even that it is at 300 mts, when you have luggage to take there it is a great help.

Tina was very hospitable and went out of her way to pick us up very early in the morning from the airport! It was very clean and had a real home feel to it. Highly recommend.

Hoped to see more new year decorations and holiday atmosphere as we stayed for new year evening
Everything was great! The hotel owner is wery nice and helpful. She helped us to find a good take away on new year's eve and gave us a lift to the airport by car, as the way is up and down the hill. The room is good and clean, the bed is cosy

Exceeded our expectations! Booked it as it was super close to the airport and we were flying out super early in the morning, Tina & Edwin are happy to help with transport to/from airport, great takeaways & supermarket just down the road. Lovely room, very comfortable, pool to swim in and great friendly hosts!!

Perfect location for arrival or departure to the airport, Tina was amazing, loved the citronella tea on arrival and our room was extremely comfortable, great nights sleep and running us to the airport was a real bonus touch to staying here

We had a delightful stay at The Runway Lodge. Tina, her family, and the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The property features a lovely pool that looked very inviting and is conveniently located near the airport. Tina even went out of her way to drop us off at the airport for our return journey. Thank you again for such wonderful hospitality—I highly recommend this place!

Lovely guest house, with a swimming pool and cosy room. Building is very secured and well managed. Rooms are nicely designed with very comfortable bed, AC, coffee/tea facilities and free bottles of water. The location is very convenient and close to the airport (shuttle is provided). Aina is a great host -I had a great pleasure to chat with her. I fully recommend this place.

Beautiful guest house in a convenient location to catch my morning flight. The room itself was lovely, with everything you might need. But what makes this place exceptional are the hosts.
